of course! ar you kidding me. He was "boxing" in his prime. It's too bad we lost his best years due to his bad decitions...there was so much more to offer there. Hey, you make your bed and you sleep in it though...I think that's how it goes.
does he? look at all he did for the sport? sure he bit a guy but he brought so much attention to the sport, so much hype. He should be in there Without question he deserves to be there. :boxing:
I like naz but i know u just didnt compare NAz carreer with Mike Tysons
Gancho please tell me he didnt compare Tysons career with naz hammed who ever the fcuk that is?
Interesting- never beat any of the greats he got in the ring with. Did unite all the titles but if Naz Hammed can't get in for that why should Tyson? Out of ring circus means nothing in this context btw, neither does infamy.

If he's not in the hall of fame that's so disrespectful for the sport of boxing. Mike brought in so many fans and so much money for them, unified the belts and became probably the most popular boxing figure to date. That would be ludicrous not to put him in.

um... yes!

I think he does, but putting him in might stain the IBHOF
Honestly, as bad as Tyson was, I kind of miss him. Tyson was exciting, there was an electric feel going into all his fights. It was such a spectacle...

Yeah, and look at all he did to the sport.
Nevertheless, he was the youngest beltholder in history, so yeah, he belongs there. Still, they need to have a snapshot of him chewing on Holyfield's ear (and spitting out the piece he bit off), and one of him being handcuffed and led off to prison in his display. Warts and all, or not at all, as far as I'm concerned.
The best heavyweight in the world at his peak, youngest ever heavyweight champ, unified all the belts at a time when they seemed fractured beyond repair, beat better competition than he's given credit for, and at the very worst he's a top 20 heavy of all time. It's beyond debate that he'll be in there.
