To everyone saying those are the only two shots he threw, you are wrong... those are the only two power punches he threw.
He threw a bunch of jabs at the start.
But yeah, 2 for 2 on power punches.
I'm starting to wonder if his straight left has any power...
same shit i thought.i figured are those faints? i mean they where close enough..
It's hard to prepare for a right hook out of the southpaw stance like that. It's not a punch you see often, and he throws it with such speed and accuracy. He's going to knock out a lot of fighters with that punch.
Not just that, I'm pretty sure he's naturally right handed, thus the extra power going behind that shot.

Yeah it's weird how it turned around for me. For awhile I really didn't like the top Puerto Rican champions (Trinidad, Camacho) but Cotto and Lopez are two of my current favorites.
I also respect Calderon for being undefeated and fighting on a championship level without any real punching power. It's crazy that he defeated Cazares twice...a guy who rehydrates and fights as a damn Featherweight.QUOTE]
would you call that FEARLESS??? :boxing::boxing: i hope he finally get a chance to unify... he deserve that money...!
Juan is ready to step up to the very top guys now. I am a big fan of his. Theres something about these P.R. fighters that I love. Lopez, Cotto, Calderon, and Tito.

tat right is ****ing dynamite........i think he KOs Vazquez easy.....in part because him and marquez may be shot...but stylistically...vazquez needs to be in the zone of danger of the bigger quicker accurate and powerful lopez.....
