Would he have been able to perform like Oscar did in his fights with all those elites? Or would he be dominated in at least one of them and against who? All of these people are talking about the size difference in DLH-PAC, but it got me thinking about sheer skill. I cant wait to see the replys because I know the nationality that most visits this site are philipinocchio's :D
if we disregard size we are talking p4p here and PAC is now number 1 p4p, where is oscar at??
i also see arguments on JM Marquez to favor Oscar, JMM is arguably p4p no. 2 at this momment and PAC fought Erik and JMM at a size disadvantage and ended up with 3-1-1 and add Marco PAC is up 5-1-1...
imho if PAC fought all the top guys Oscar fought without a size disadvantage easily pac can improve odlh's record...
Oscar and Pac are practically on the same level, just that they fought in different weight classes. Another difference is that Pacman has a winning record against his rivals, Oscar doesn't. :D
Look, Manny is not the fighter he used to be.
And I mean that in a good way.
Look at Pac vs Morales 1 & 2. Pac was obviously way different physically and stylewise.
Not only that but Many was TOTALLY weight drained in his 2nd fight against JMM and still won (officially anyways) If Marquez were to go up to 135 to fight Manny, the fight would end with Manny winning by a wide UD.
How weight drained was Manny... Look at his pic under feedback... He looks like a freaking skull, Look at him against Diaz he looked so much better.
Oscar is gonna KO pac but your talking about an OLD past his prime DLH, prime DLH would of gave Pacquiao a schooling and a straight beat down at the end.
you obviously never seen DLH in his prime, thats why your so fukin stupid, you started watching boxing when pacquiao fought morales so im not suprised.
Does your sweet science includes going to the the canvas 4x?:D
a brawler makes you the better boxer?... is that what the sweet science is about now?... :thumbsdow
I never said he was the better boxer, I said he is/was the better brawler.
Not on Oscar's level? Lols.
We will see come Dec... Take note Oscar has huge advantages going his way...
If Pac beats him which I think is a good chance.. you will be shutting your stupid mouth and will try to find more excuses.
If Pac is one-dimensional... Poor JMM... then he must be shit for spreading his legs and kissing the canvas 4 times.

As a boxer, prime DLH is better but Pacquiao has always been the better brawler.

Dont be hatin......
i'm not hating.
morales soundly beat manny but it wasn't a one sided beatdown. manny won some rounds and a few more were close.
juanma won the majority of rounds against manny in the 1st fight (you can even say he won that fight) but he didn't win the 1st 2 rounds.
a one dimensional fighter doesn't beat Barrera, Morales and JMM..or move up in weight multiple times..**** he's a former flyweight taking on a former jr middleweight now.
One-dimensional?? Lols
Id shudder what JMM is given that Pac beat him. Lols.
speed and power, duh.. skillwise pacquoiao is not on oscars level, anyone who disagrees with that is fuking retarded and clearly doesnt watch boxing besides pacquioao's
I still remember Morales boxing Pacman's ears off in their first fight and then turning southpaw in final rounds to make fun of Manny.
I still remember Marquez winning virtually every round besides the first one against him.
Shit like that, it would not roll with Oscar.
i don't know about morales boxing manny's ears off. it was a definite win but it was still close. probably 7-5 on most score cards.
how can you have jmm winning only 1 round? jmm was still collecting himself in the 2nd round. manny won that round for sure.

:bottle::bottle::bottle:
Neither of these fights meant anything at that point of morales's career.
"Pacman was green" is a lame excuse, Not much changed since then in his style, he is still a "walk you down, throw one two and get you off balance fighter" fighter. He might have some more variety now, but Marquez, who is not as good as Oscar, nor does he have oscar's punch, was very effective against him. Prime Oscar would beat Pacman silly, today's Oscar is likely to do so too.
As for skills, they just ain't close, Oscar can do things Manny only seen on videotapes.
I AM gonna give it to Manny though, he CAN dominate against certain styles or lesser opposition. He is also pretty damn fast at going forwards, and can throw a mean flurry.
his style has changed quite a bit..a lot actually. He went from being a good fighter to being an elite boxer/fighter. he's more accurate, his right hand is much more prominent..he slips punches and throws wicked combinations. Hell, in the second Morales fight if you couldn't tell a difference in his style then I suggest you rewatch the fight. He was ripping off body combinations and snapping his right hook off just as much as his left, he also bulked up a bit to - he looked a little small in the first fight. He's got a very hard rythm to follow.
Saying Oscar was a better boxer than Marquez is arguable. Marquez doesn't do anything wrong, his chin is a little shaky but he makes up for it in heart. I don't know anything that Oscar did in his Prime that Marquez can't do. I actually think Marquez is a more accurate puncher than Oscar to.

Pacquiao was green, he only threw one punch, his straight left. I also remember Pac knocking Morales out 2 times in the rematch.
I dont think so, he had a hard time with marquez, he would most likely get dominated in one of them
thats so ignorant, every good fighter will have trouble with someone at some point. Even Ali and Tyson both had trouble with fighters even in their Primes.
What about all the great fighters that Pac did pulverize? Instead of focusing on Marquez, whome he beat.
Oscar lost to Tito in his Prime did he not?
What was Oscars peak? When he was koing bums and knocking out past there prime fighters like chavez? Or when he knocked out fighters who weren't elites like Vargas and Mayorga.
