zab judah vs luis collazo in the works?

last i heard, collazo was taking a fight on the undercard of mayorga-mosley that wouldnt be televised. then its onto berto, assuming berto beats forbes... if berto were to duck collazo and not fight him within 3 months of his optional defense against forbes, the wbc would strip berto and collazo would become champ.... don't see why he would fight judah and jeopardize that unless the money was real good. if they fight, im going with my man collazo!

these guys are both from brookly, they sparred a few times together. i remember zab getting the better results but that was when zab was a champion. i don't think this will happen. don king is not letting his welterweight collazo fight in a while. supposedly collazo was suppose to fight baldomir for a wbc #1 spot. but baldomir is fighting another guy.

Zab is getting his ass kicked in all of his big fights, he needs to go down to 140 where he won't be outweighed by 15-20 pounds.

If they are then it seems Zab wants to take every possible fight back down the todem pole.. He won't leave until we're sure everyone can beat him.

Judah should win, hopefully. Knowing Judah he'll do something to screw it up

Luis Collazo deserves another shot at a name fighter...

Zab should be waiting on the Hatton/Paulie winner, to see if he can get himself into the mix afterwards. I hope this Collazo match up is just a bad rumor. It doesn't do much for either guy.

Judah might finally win a fight I would give the edge to Judah but Collazo is very underrated IMO.

collazo mentioned he was going to retire from the sport for either fighter a loss in the fight will result in a retirement. both slick south paws i think judah could outbox collazo ,but i agree i cant see judah any where near the w/w devision any more. both of these guys have there boxing future in jeopardy

Somehow this fight will end up on HBO. I was thinking about it earlier but who else currently can lose consistently and still make appearance steady appearances on HBO the way Zab Judah somehow can? Seriously, who else can?

Who is managing this kid's career? Zab has no future as a welterweight. This is a stupid fight imo. Let's say he gets by Collazo, then what? It's an uphill battle for him to get anything done in that weight class.

was at a boxing press this weekend any feed on this rumor? Collazo is a big, slick welter, and Judah doesn't seem to be able to stay focussed for 12 rounds anymore. At this stage of their respective careers I would give Collazo an excellent chane of beating him.

now THIS sounds like a good comeback fight for zab.

Judah has lost like 20 in a row... Even Collazo is too generous of a fight for him right now. He needs to beat some guys in the bottom top 50 in order to get himself in position to fight a Luis Collazo.
