Why does everyone think it will be a domination? Mijares is a technician, I don't take anything away, but so are a lot of boxers facing punchers? I actually can't stand Vic sometimes, but he is being treated like a pushover?
His fight with a technichian in Kirilov(no I am not comparing kirilov to mijares) was actually a domination on Vics part. Vic gets caught against Donaire and all of a sudden he is a bum. He actually beat gorres, handily in my opinion(talk about hometown cooking), has 1 loss, KTFO pretty much everyone he has faced, including some boxer/technicians? Don't let the hate of a boxer get to your judgement, I actually think Vic will make this exciting, even though I am sure Mijares will pull out the decision.
Well i went searching 4 the fight and there's really no way you can argue a fight being stopped after that many unanswered punches. But after rewatching it...only the last 3-4 punches landed cleanly. Kawashima was doing a good job covering up. If he was in the middle of the ring instead of against the ropes i doubt that fight gets stopped
I don't know, a lot of punches did land there, but you are right that Kawashima does do a great job of covering up. Even in his fight against Munoz he has some good defense. It's a solid peek a boo that's hard to break through. I've always wished the Navarro-Kawashima fight was on tape. Heard it was a robbery.
We couldn't look into it that much even if the fight is close, which I don't think, but who knows. Because if Donaire and Mijares fought you never would know what would happen on that night. Mijares could just go over his usual brillance and demolish Donaire.
If Frazier goes the full 15 with Ali, what does that say about Foreman?
Lord, you fools need to learn. Dumb, dumb thread.
Its a joke thread. Get a life.
That Donaire has more power than Mijares, nothing else. Mijares will tag Darchinyan more than Donaire and will get hit less, there still might be a stoppage.
:lol1: I don't know if you can see my sig or not, but Mijares throws like 20 different unanswered punches and Kawashima eats all of them. That was not a bad stoppage.

I thought that was a premature stoppage. And Kawashima wont fight Donaire so Darchinyan would be our only measuring stick

It would say that Donaire is very strong or that Darchinyan's chin is a LOT better at 115...
Also it doesn't say shit about Z Gorres. Darchinyan clearly won that fight and knocked him down unofficially like 5 different times. I like Gorres' style, but drawing with Darchinyan he did not.QUOTE]
i like your honesty, good job
Darchinyan should be wrecked if it goes the full twelve, provided Mijares turns on the heat. I could certainly see it going the distance, Mijares isn't the biggest puncher and likes to box.
Yeah, but I seriously doubt Donaire could stop Kawashima with a TKO 10. How Mijares stopped Kawashima is beyond me. Kawashima is a tough SOB.

So we are going with the Traingle Theory now?
Just to piss off Xcrement.:rofl::rofl::rofl:
But seriously...if Darchinyan goes 12 and keeps it competitive it would say loads about Donaire. 115-112 or even 116-111 just wouldnt cut it against a guy who KO'd the same opponent in 5
