IMO Valuev is there for the taking. It's about who gets him first. Wlad, Vitali, Chageev (again). I'm notsure about Dimitrenko though. Can he handle the bulk??
Dimitrenko might be capable of beating Wlad or atleast give him a really hard fight so a Valuev is no problem for him. I could see dimi winning all 12 rounds.
Cool. I'm still going to check it out, just to see the knockdown. I didn't really expect a Ruiz fight to be very entertaining, haven't seen one of his that was since the Tua fight.
Well on that note it was definitely better than Ruiz's fights with Rahman and Oquendo. It's all relative I guess.
Agreed
Chagaev, Dimitrenko, Povetkin, Ibragimov ,etc.. would all beat Valuev
Wlad and Vitali would both brutally KO Valuev
Ibragimov vs Valuev would be a horrificly boring fight. I honestly think that Valuev would win it tho, just because of the jab and height.
Povetkin would easily beat him.
I would expect Chagaev to beat him, unless Chagaev comes back out of shape and very unfocused.
Im not so sure about Dimitrenko. he was hurt by body shots in his last fight, and Timo Hoffman had him in serious trouble not too long ago. although then again...Valuev isnt exactly a master in body shots or power punches, is he? hahaha.
I would love to watch Wlad KO him. if Vitali made it through training camp, he would beat him as well.
It was more fairly even than decent.

Damnit, I missed it. Sounds like it was a decent, fairly even fight. I gotta see Valuev get knocked down, looks like Wlad would be able to KO him after all.

Yup. Either that or me and the rest of the forum dreamt it! :lol1:
Yeah, Ruiz stunned Valuev with a right hand. Wlad could deffintaly KO Valuev is he lands a right hand IMO
:lol1::lol1:
I probably closed my eyes a bit.... Can you blame me??

Yes, and Povetkin would too.

Valuev sucks as a boxer. Ruiz is not a boxer, a wrestler. This was an extremely ugly fight that's impossible to score.
Ref should have deducted multiple points from Ruiz for constant sniffing of Valued underarms.
I'd like to see Dimitrenko vs Valuev
Dimitrenko would whoop his ass

I must have slept :lol1: I didn't see the ref deduct a point to the judges. Are you 100% sure??
Yup. Either that or me and the rest of the forum dreamt it! :lol1:
All Wladimir would have to do is stick to boxing to be an easy winner.

Guys like him always seem to get chances. He'll have to be KO'd to be gotten rid of.
that's a shame. if Ruiz gets a title shot ever again, that will be really screwed up. there are plenty of fresh faces in the hw division. I really don't get what Ruiz has to offer anybody at this point.
I saw the point deduction.
Ok. I guess I had Ruiz the winner by a point then!!
But a lot of rounds were close, so I wouldn't call this a robbery at all.
