Robinson couldn't even get a title shot and had to go up to middleweight to get fights during his welterweight tenure everyone was so scared of him. Although mafia involvement, who he refused to treat with, didn't help either.

i say it's a strong tie between Hearns and robinson Hearns because of his size and that power. and Robinson, well because he was robinson lol. but i think if you'd put them beside each other, physically Hearns would look more intimidating, in the actual fight, each of these 2 men had their own horrors to bring to other welterweights

Why are people comparing Hearns with Margarito? Margarito has a great chin and work rate, decent power, average speed. He's not that feared, he could be outboxed by anyone with good stamina and boxing skills. Hearns was a beast, he was feared, Trinidad was ducked even by Terry Norris at jr. middle when Tito was a welter. Even Ike Quartey was ducked more than Margarito.

Everyone wanted to fight Hearns and Trinidad, so I'm not sure where that is coming from
