Calzaghe Vs Pavlik

The Clazaghe v Pavlik issue has been pretty overdone already and even if they do fight it won't be for a fair while. Right now Calzaghe takes it no problem, but in a year or so it could be a different story. To all the people saying that Pavlik would whoop him, please explain to me how Pavlik is different to Kessler and why he would fair better against Calzaghe.

In the world. Hatton is #1 in his division and had many good wins. I'm not saying their flawless of have top resumes. But whats new loads of people don't. Does Pavlik? Both Jack and Kelly know he will kick Joes butt thats why they want it , I agree it probably wont happen but it wont be Kelly pulling out it will be Joe like he has already done once after calling Kelly out , Enzo shit after seeing Kelly up close , like Jack said Enzo wants no part of his monster , if Kelly is really impressive beating Bhop Joe wont fight him thats my gut feeling as Joe has been a cherry picker his whole career he aint gunna risk it all now against a young hungry lion that punches like a mule . Joe's done a lot on paper but in reality he would lose to any Prime HoF fighter judging by his performance vs 43 year old Hopkins and the fact that his record was padded in Wales against nobodies.So you judge him aganst one fight?? How many world champs has Calzaghe fought when defending his title 20+ times??? How many Titles did he take??? That is what he should be judged by ! For the record i am not a huge fan of Calzaghes style and would much prefer to watch a prime RJJ,Nigel Benn,Pavlic etc etc but you gotta give calzaghe his Props what hes done hes done well ! Except Pavlik. In the fight that is. As much as it does make sense and those things are true and making it morel likely, still doesn't mean it will happen though. Wouldn't be the first big fight not to come off, far from it. There's been loads the last couple of years. People will kick up a stink on Calzaghe for not fighting Pavlik, but don't talk about Osca not wanting Marg after first saying he would, and countless of other such scenario's. I'm not sure I can see a sensible reason for Pavlik to want to fight Calzaghe. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it never happens.

Yeah it will probably happen. Calzaghe figting Jones and Pavlik fighting Hopkins only serves to make the fight even bigger. Calzaghe has only had one fight in the US and it wasnt an impressive performance so if he ups it against Jones, his stock will rise. Pavlik is quite well known and a potential superstar but has quite fullfilled it yet. Beating and possibly KOing Hopkins will elevate him. Fight becomes much bigger, both guys get paid more. Joe gets to puncture another American hypejob. Everyone wins. Except Pavlik. In the fight that is.
