Anyone truely know the reason? he has never been in a game other then his own punch out game. When they came out with the new boxing game for XBOX 360 I thought he might be in it due to Don King promoting it but I was let down yet again.
It could be similar to other fighters and the folks that work on licensing fighters at Undisputed spoke about it. Too many fighters think they're worth waaaaay more than they truly are for licensing and because of that, they're simply left out. Or if not even the fighter themselves, their managers who want to rack in as much money on any endeavor as possible for their client.
The way I look at it with concerns to something like gaming for example. Why the heck not put yourself in it? Take the tiny cut of whatever it costs to license you when by simply being in the game, you're practically immortalizing yourself, you get fans to discover you, follow you and learn about you. This is way more beneficial than a simple licensing fee. Especially if you're an upcoming fighter and they ask if you can be added. That's like free marketing and publicity.
I hope I can be proved wrong, but it wouldn't surprise me if that is why Mayweather isn't in Undisputed yet. The dude probably thinks he's worth millions to be included when, sorry to break it to you, Undisputed isn't going to make that many more sales by including him in the game at this point. So his licensing fee just isn't worth it, no matter how popular he is.
You’re absolutely right! Mike Tyson is such an iconic figure in boxing history and pop culture that it’s surprising he hasn’t made a bigger splash in modern games yet. His intensity and legacy would make him a perfect fit for a fighting or sports game. Licensing and image rights definitely play a role, but it’s crazy how athletes today are crossing over into all kinds of digital spaces.
It’s also true that boxing fans often branch out into other types of entertainment, like sports betting or even online games. For example, platforms like 1win aviator offer a variety of options, from betting on live boxing events to fun games like Aviator, which has become quite popular among players. It’s that same thrill and real-time excitement that fans of boxing love — just with a bit of a twist.
Imagine if Tyson were featured in a modern game, and you could also bet on the outcomes of his fights in real-time — that would be something!
That’s a question I’ve wondered about too, especially considering how iconic Mike Tyson is in boxing history and pop culture. He’s one of those figures who instantly brings intensity and nostalgia, so it feels like he’d fit perfectly into modern sports or fighting games. Licensing issues and image rights probably play a big role, but it’s still surprising given how often athletes cross over into games and other digital spaces now. Fans who follow boxing also tend to branch out into related online entertainment, moving between sports content, games, and betting platforms during major events. That crossover is why sites like bet365 often come up in discussions around boxing and competitive sports, since they tap into the same excitement and real-time engagement. It would honestly be interesting to see Tyson make a proper return in a modern game one day.
Licesing and image issues. After the rape conviction, Nintendo nor Sega wanted that hurting their family oriented image (hence why Mike Tyson's Intergalactic Power Punch was scrapped). Then when all was done, his Playstation game which cost an arm and a leg flopped, studio’s were inclined to pay big licensing fee for a game which could flop.
They put Roy Jones on the cover, than he lost to Tarver via KO
They put Oscar on the cover, than he lost to Mayweather
They put Hopkins on the cover, than he lost to Taylor
They put Tyson on the cover...Tyson doesn't box anymore, what will happen to him?
The exact opposite. Tyson will improve his lifestyle and drop 70 pounds to get back into fighting shape at a mean 215 lbs.

He's gotta be on the front cover of fnr4, I say it's about time the immature critics drop the ear biting incident and recognize him as the amazing boxer he once was..
I agree Iron Mike being in the game will push sales through the roo f and he should defintely be on teh cover. I hope they don't drop like keys boxers Ali, Holy, Fraizer. i want to see some more Heavy from the past so you can match Mike up with them. Ali vs Tyson oh that would be great my dream match all over again.....Thanks for the information fellas....Lefty

Because then they would have to add a whole new dynamic to the game. Ear biting.... It would costs 10's of thousands of $$ to add this feature..
They would also have to include a "Attempt to break arm" buttong and a new fleetfootedness engine..
