It's all over the spanish radio here in Miami and in Orlando where my nephew lives. He says that all he keeps hearing is Puerto Ricans saying Margarito was definitely on steroids because he was much stronger than usual.
I'm hearing the same thing here in Miami all over the radio when they mention the fight and take calls.
By the way, 100% of the Cubans calling in are telling the Puerto Ricans to stop crying, it's classic.
This is really sad because people are dead serious in their accusations....sad.
If it was that way, countless boxers would do these so called exercises to make them have one punch power, incredible speed or and iron chin. Like I said, you can imprve speed and power but there are just people that no matter what you do will always hit harder and punch faster.
Chin is just something your born with...
but it all depending on you too.
Bruce Lee wasnt born strong he made himself strong.
Yes some people have the advantage they are born strong but some need to work extra hard to become strong.
Why people dont have a 1 punch KO or incredible speed depends on what they focus on training.
I believe you could be whatever you mind takes you and hard training. why limit yourself on some things. I bet the guy who break those bricks with punches weren't born with that but they trained for it.
People who are like Tyson or Tito have the advantage in things but if they dont train there power wont be useful especially in some stage of there career
I didn't know there were any Boricuas in Miami, been there twice, have some relatives never heard of Puertoricans there, not many anyway. A lot of Argentinians, and you being Mexican you must be a big minority among the Spanish there.
spain is in europe dumb ass

That's so fucked up! My mother always told me that "LOSERS" are the ones who make EXCUSES.....Its hard for some of Cotto's fans to accept that their TERMINATOR was TERMINATED!
Margarito fought Cintron twice, who is considered by many, top 10 p4p punchers in the sport, and MOST will agree hits harder then Cotto. What I am trying to get at is if he took Cintrons BEST shots and smiled, I don't understand why Cottos should have hurt him so bad?
Now here's a guy that knows the sport. I agree with you 123%! You can always improve many different areas of your fight game but there are some things you are just born with or without. Now that I finally found someone who knows the sport of boxing, I'm wondering if you think Cotto's nose being broken had anything to do with his breathing and ultimatly how he fell apart in the later rounds?
I have had my nose broken 4 times, the first time you break it, it hurts very bad and your eyes even swell.
After you have broken it a few times it gets much easier and now, the last time I broke my nose, it didn't even bleed much and didn't hurt at all.
I don't know if Cotto has ever had a broken nose, but to think a guy that has fought as much as he has, never to have broke his nose, is unlikely.
If for some chance he never broke his nose and this was the first time, it could have been a major issue but mostly with his ability to deal with the pain. A broken nose isn't an actual bone that is broke, it's just the cartilage being separated form the nose bone.
It heals on it's own after time, it's not like you have to have surgery or anything like that, not that I have heard of.
I think more than anything it was the body work that killed Cotto, Marg beat him at his own game. It was very reminiscent of Chavez vs Taylor, Taylor was winning on points but was paying a very big price for it and eventually caved in. Cotto took a brutal beating to the body and with uppercuts.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA boy are you one pathetic sour-graped ass motha fuka. :crackhead
To make things worse, my friend that lives in PR told me it's all over the news and everything. That PR newspapers are even backing the story and saying that the results of the drug tests will be out this thursday and the whole island is waiting for the results.....
Damn man, I have heard of bad sportsmanship but this shit takes the cake.
I'm Puerto Rican and I'm not saying Margarito was on steroids. I'm a Cotto fan but I respect Margarito a great deal. He won the first. Let's see what happens when they fight again.
There is some things you are given with.
But mostly you could improve anything if you want.
The neck helps absorb some of the blows but it does not mean that you wont get hurt.
I concluded from this article:

and on these pictures for Margarito training:

anyone could be strong and fast if they want to. It all in you head.

one more thing
the one glaring case where roids were found was Vargas
the fight was the Sept 14th 2002
we didnt find out about it until Sept 25th
by the time this rumor first surfaced they hadn't even started the testing
silly

yeah but Kostya did an exercise that was seemingly even tougher than the one Tony does and I wouldnt say his chin is world class. In fact tons of fighters do that exercise
Ive hears its true through sources who used to spar with Margs.
They were making some good loot doin it too.
They said he stops before the bout to clear it out of his system
aahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahaa
*inhale*
buahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
*gasp*
ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
seeing as how I know just about every sparring partner that has sparred with Tony which one was it?
ok let me guess "I can say man my source doesnt want to be known"

This is bullshit. Let the man enjoy his win.
No man sorry, I boxed for years and have been invloved in boxing since I was 13. All the trainers I have ever had and people that just know about boxing will tell you that there are 3 things you either have or you don't.
1 - Power
2 - Speed
3 - Chin
Power and speed you can work on, but that true speed or one punch power is born with. And it has nothing to do with muscles, I have seen countless guys that look like they have no strength, pack a hell of a punch.
Chin is just God given, there's nothing you can do to improve your chin. You will find out if you have one the first time you get hit.
There is some things you are given with.
