Quartey by decision. Quartey was an elite fighter in the early-mid 90's. His jab and physical strength would take Margarito out of his game. It would truly be a fight which looked like the first four rounds of Clottey/Margarito. Clottey has a style very similar to Quartey's.

Quartey's best was quite good, but I think Margarito's workrate wins him a close decision.

Quartey's chin was unreliable and he had shakey balance. Margarito by mid rounds stoppage.

Quartey can't hurt Margarito, would have been tough for Quartey to win....

I was a big Bazooka fan but I think Marg would take this fight. Too big and too relentless, Ike's main wepon was his jab and thats just not enough to beat Margarito.

i too think ike would take it. he was a very strong and durable welterweight. he may not be able to knock margarito out, but that jab of his would slice margarito's face into mincemeat and i don't care how tough marg's skin is, ike would be landing that thudding jab at will.

Now a great fight would have been Margarito and Jose Luis Lopez. Maestrito would have been Margarito's equal as far as toughness and power goes. No doubt, that would have been great, I can't even pick a winner.
