We've already seen him against Williams, I'd rather see that fight pushed back a little. Right now a DLH fight is the biggest out there. It will be interesting to see if someone can finally KO DLH, and not just by a single body shot this time. What's even more interesting is if DLH refuses to fight Margo because he's NEVER ducked no one.
If he fights De La Hoya it would be in December, so a tune up is out of the question. Even if it was later I don't see Margarito risking the payday by fighting anyone else first.
Tony isn't going anywhere though.
I don't think he's in any jeopardy of losing out on many paydays from now on. They should just fall into place.
Margarito will get his revenge and beatdown Williams
Seconded.
I guess this fight could be the other option, that would be nice.

I'd say probably a tune up and then De La Hoya.
But the next person? Oscar? I think he should fight either a Quintana or Gomez to keep him primed first. Neither of them would pose much threat.
And he should dispose of both in 1 round probably.

Williams is the only way to go. Fightin the other titlists (WBC & IBF) could unify the belts, but Williams is the one he needs to fight. Tony should enjoy his moment of glory from beatin Cotto, but when the buzz on that dies down fact remains Williams has him 0-1 until he corrects it.
Vernon Forrest after he beats Mora LOL.
I'd love it to be Williams first and foremost.
If everything was right in boxing, it would be. But promoter squabbles make this unlikely. The Pavlik-Williams negotiations didn't end up on a friendly note.
Hmmm Maybe the winner of Judah-Clottey or Williams are my choices.
I think it's the winner of next weeks fight (especially if it is Clottey) or Shane Mosley if Margarito is willing to wait awhile. The first fight unifies two titles and the Mosley fight brings more money. Arum hates Goossen and Haymon this week so Williams gets left out in the cold.
What real money fighters are there? Oscar i guess it is possible but i doubt that, Floyd i can not see comming out of retirement to face Margarito although all the shit that gets talked about Floyd-Margarito has to be somewhat upsetting to him, Cotto but i can not see Arum doing that to Cotto, Hatton i can not see fighting Margarito. Who else is there that brings money Mora, Mosley, possibly Judah(if he wins) I guess. Maybe he means Clottey if he wins because he promotes both fighters so that would be more for him. I doubt Paul Williams would bring money unless HBO really wanted that fight
I hope it is Williams II or Clottey II, as those fights left many things to be desired. I can't really see a big money fight out there for Margarito right now. DLH won't go near him...maybe Mosley?
