I'm a casual boxing fan but I'm a hardcore Pacfan cause I'm Pinoy but sometimes I don't understand that some poster here saying that Ricky Hatton is an easy fights for Manny Pacquiao... For me Hatton is a very tough, strong and bigger than Pac and Why are they taking Hatton credits for being a good fighter... I know he lost last year but he just lost to #1 p4p fighter( it means the best of best) and some saying that Hatton has a china chin but he was just TKO not "KO"... and some says Margarito has a granite chin but all I know he was been KO'd or TKO before hope I'm right.
So are we talking about Hatton-Pac or Thailand Transvestites? :D
yeah were talikng about hatton-pac
damn i hate thai boxer sometimes i had a conversation with local here saying how they beat pinoy always. damn they show it regularly in there local tv show... those pinoy bum fighting thai chumps lelz so unfare...
but last time the thai got owned...
were so pissed off that they cut pacquiao-marquez II because there fighter Jendaeng got owned... and we all just watch in a small room cause theres only one we know that using TFC... fuck*ng unfair... some of the pinoy just listen outside lelz and watch the
replays that we recorded:grumpy:
Marquez hurt Pacquiao to the body quite a bit in their rematch. If that was noticed by Hatton or his team, it would be a major focus of his attack and would take all the steam out of Pacquiao towards the latter half of the fight. I think Hatton would take this personally.
Marquez is about 1047 times better at boxing than Hatton, he's also much quicker. Power obviously goes to Hatton but will he land? doubtful
Chiang Mai was wonderful. A lot different than Bangkok. Luckily there were enough beautiful girls in Nana that I didn't have to settle for imitations. :D
Aha your right on that! I was almost fooled when i touch below damn theres something in it i just throw him out the taxi lelz:Flush:

Well Luzcano hurt Hatton too and maybe Pac can do the same:boxing:

He's got a realistic chance if Hatton is starting to decline. BTW, where in Thailand are you?

So what do you think Manny Pacquiao chances of beating Hatton?

How can Pacquiao not carry his speed? he came to the Diaz fight at 147, we already know how quick he will be at 140.
Hatton is a lot faster than Diaz, who just made Manny seem so ridiculously quick.
I dont know if you (or any other poster) has noticed that in probably his last 4 or 5 fights he has had problems with his breathing, he can be seen between rounds either blowing snot from his nose or coughng phlegm, not sure what the associated problem may be (but he was cited as having a chest infection during training for Lazcano) maybe this is a contributory factor in his inability to sustain attacks like he used to?
I know age is a factor and Hatton, although not old, has been through the mill now and we musnt forget his Yo Yo weight issues, although he has always been the same throughout his career and until relatively recently it was never really an issue.
He's getting winded and tired much easier now, he used to be able to sustain a high intensity attack, throwing 70 to 80 punches a round without getting tired, even though he had a chest infection against Lazcano, it doesn't really explain why he gets tired in his other fights.
I think it's his weight fluctuations and bad habits outside of the ring, it was bound to catch up with him eventually.
IMO he should take a trip down memory lane to when he was defending his WBU belt against Ben Tackie. His defence and boxing skills were as good as they ever have been. Also he could do worse than take a leaf out of Micky Gomez's book, Hatton used to be all about putting his head on his opponents chest (like Micky) and going to war with his hands high round his ears.
Now it seems he is looking for the KO too quickly and too often which is why he is open to the punches we have discussed.
Yeah, he looked very good against Tackie.
I agree with you, Hatton used to be very good at find space on the inside to land his shots both to the body and the head, he can't seem to sustain his attack like he used to anymore, that's probably why he clinches as much as he does now.
I agree, they have to work on that left hook and developing better defense on the outside if he wants to keep fighting.
yup thats what Ricky need to do cause he seems to be hittable :boxing:
I have to admit that the fact he is considering changing trainers has suprised me. I never thought he would even think of leaving Billy Graham, Billy thinks of him as a son and they are really close.
Still, if he is looking for a 5 fight plan as he said prior to the Lazcano fight and wants to be successful during that period he seriously should consider it as what Floyd showed the world has already been emulated by Lazcano and if he fights someone with real power it could end up in the same KO result that Floyd handed him.
I agree, they have to work on that left hook and developing better defense on the outside if he wants to keep fighting.
Good point although i would hope that Hatton is not stupid enough to not watch replays of his last couple of fights, its ALWAYS the left hook as he is about to throw his own. Billy Graham needs to address that with him in the gym, i know you cant teach an old dog new tricks but if Hatton wants to stay in the fight in case it goes the distance and not take too much punishment he needs to be able to look at his gameplan during fights!!
No doubt that leaping left hook is a horrible punch because he drops his right hand when he throws if leaving himself wide open to a counter left which is Pacquiao's main weapon, if Graham can't point this out, then maybe it is a good idea to switch trainers since he's considering it.
That's true, we'll just have to wait and see.
But who knows man everytime pac comes up he still maintain his speed...
lets just wait and see:boxing:
