how good where they were they just boggiemen or did the have more to their game should they or could they have done a lot more
Kings of the upset
Buster Douglas
Frankie Randall
Antonio Tarver
Vernon Forrest
Andrew Golota
all talented but for some reason or another never had major success really
why is it people say Hopkins whooped Tarver he did'nt it was a low contact fight & the knockdown was because Tarver was standing square on and he lost his balance
Replay showed his glove didn't even touch. I wasn't makin any reference to th KD. No he didn't brutally beat him to a pulp, but he schooled him, took every rd, and coulda KO'd him if he felt like it. That's a whoopin.
yeah and that tells u what they could have achieved if they fullfilled their true potential
frankie randall is one of my top 5 all time favorite fghters. he out classed chavez in both fights.
he just didn't get out of the game when he should have, and took alot of losses at the end of his career. if that had not happened, he would be spoken of very highly today.
You know Tarver is still condsidered a top fighter at Light Heavyweight right?
And Randell became a defendng World Champion.

Forrest
Tarver
Randall
definetly should of done a lot more IMO

Douglas was a decent fighter, just couldn't stay in shape. Randall was good, not sure why he never really blew up. Tarver's ok, but he failed to finish Roy the 3rd time when Roy wasn't even fightin back, then got whomped by B-Hop. He's got anotha belt now, and beatin Dawson could help resurrect him. Vernon's a damn good fighter, or was, but injuries and the Mayo losses stalled him. Now after the Mora loss, he looks shot. Golota's damn good too, but he didn't have the mentality to win his big fights.

remember that flashing light reaction tester thing they had on the last contender. Imagine putting that infront Golota. He'd stare for two minutes start to weep and then kick sugar Ray Leonard in the face.
If my sig wasn't already full. That would be in it...
On Topic, I havn't seen much of Douglas but I have heard from a few people that on his good nights he was a very good fighter.

got To Love Andrew Golota.
the Fact That He Was Clinically Retarded Let Him Down. Wouldn't Say That To His Face Although He Probably Wouldn't Understand Anyway.
