Is a coward/runner/pussy etc?
I dont understand this, Solis fought a good fight, he moved, he took advantages where they came and did what he had to do against a bigger guy, but i dont see any posters (you know who they are) complaining about his performance at all, why is that?
Then isn't it bad for Pacquiao to beat Soto next? I mean if Soto is so bad (Lol he's actually really good) that Guzman is allowed to run from him literally, then why is Pacquiao fighting him?
I think Soto is a better choice then Valero personally, but when Guzman already beat him, it doesn't mean much.
You're right. It wont mean much. UNLESS Guzman beats Campbell. If Guzman beats Soto by a comfortable shutout but Paq knocks him out in 4 it would set the stage for some very amusing trash talk from both Paq and Guzman for the unification bout.
Im thinking something along the lines of Guzman saying if Soto cut Paq's face but Soto couldn't even touch him.
And Paq would retaliate with at least i wasnt so scared of him i ran away the whole fight
Guzman did literally run from soto. And i mean he literally RAN from 1 end of the ring to another. But i dont see how that would equate to him being able to do the same against Paq. He's quick enough to catch him mid stride

Nah, not at all, home slice....
Its just cats like this Mandy, Vivica Mexico, Mayana Sun, and Felicity characters are straight up hypocritical punks... Warrior my ass...LMAO...
Solis was crying to the ref ALL DAMN NIGHT... I think he wanted his compatriot Jose Sulaiman to come help his ass... I dont even know why they had judges for that fight...120-107???? GTFOH!!!!
let me be real with you son, these are the exact people im directing this thread at, i am a fan of fighters like solis who use intelligence, however this particular fight was kind of boring, i admire the style, but where are these guys when one of their own commits the cardinal sin of using movement? i think you really understood the underlying point of this thread.
Hahaha!!! You are one little blind biznatch... Outgunned???? How was Donaire outgunned when Solis had his track shoes on??? Did you even watch the fight or were you sucking on one of your homie's burrito?
Science???....Bullshit... Where's all that fake-ass Mexican warrior nonesense???? No wonder you people are the joke of this site... When your fighters get rocked and run and avoid toe to toe shit, now he's kicking some science....LMAO!!!!...
Bitch, please.... Solis ran for dear life because he only had to survive to win the fight.... The evidence is in the OFFICIAL score cards... TWO FUCKING JUDGES scored the fight 120-108 and 120-107.... That means Donaire hardly won a single round....You damn cheating pieces of excrement...
brother you seem very upset
i don't think people really think that.
he won his fight. that's his job. who cares how he won it? you don't like it just don't watch him again and he'll be punished financially for not being crowd friendly.
i think all the comments are directed towards solis because a lot of the solis supporters are probably the same ones who talk crap about how floyd fights. payback i guess?
Well said!!.
My initial thread is in defense of statements i have been hearing such as
"Guzman ran from soto, he doesnt deserve a fight with pacman, hed just run to a desicion"
"Whitaker ran from chavez, thats why he didint win"
im tired of pure boxers getting a bad rep on here in favor of one style.
I know that you want to relate everything to floyd, and then relate that into something about cotto, but thats not what this is about, get over that shit.

so what you guys thought of the scores? 120-108 120-108 120-107? donaire didn't even get 1 round? haven't seen the fight though.
It wasnt a shutout by any means, those scores were on par with the Chavez Jr fight that followed.
I'm not the only one who called you on it.
You're the same guy who will go into a thread about Cotto getting a Ford endorsement.
And you'll bring up Floyd some how.
How come Floyd didn't get an endorsement? This must be racism!
I didint say any of that, infact, that was the thread where i went into a very personal rant about puerto rico and its inability to properly manage money/government.
I dont think i mentioned the mans name at all in that thread because hes not material to the subject matter in any relevant way.
I do understand that.
But your initial thread is a defense of Floyd.
Whether you admit it or not. LMAO.

Still crying about Floyds treatment? LMAO.
I watch fights, and alot of them, i dont just watch one fighter and bash everyone else. If you read the thread, you would understand.

Its callled double standards.
Its ok for type A boxer to run cuz your a fan but not ok for Type B boxer because of diffirent nationality, race, ethinicity(choose one).
pac used movement, backpedalled & boxed diaz ...
NOW is he a coward/runner/pussy etc ?
I am sure if PAC will fight Hatton he will do a lot more boxing...
if he boxed like Christian Mijares does, then i dont see an issue. But if he boxed like Spinks does, then there is some ripe hypocrisy going on.
I wish someone could share the fight. It's quite uncharacteristic of Solis to fight the way some people describe. Nevertheless, Solis is just showing his championship level. He can adjust when he needed to box, and I don't have a problem with it, considering that Glenn was coming down.
and like i said, this is exactly what happened with baldomir, basically mayweather in the first 6 rounds had some really good exchanges with baldomir and nailed him with several beautiful shots, essentially the last 6 rounds of the fight, mayweather basically cruised to a UD, Baldomir brought nothing to the table but pressure and mayweather would be stupid if he stood in front of him, so how is solis performance any different than mayweather?
The difference is that Mayweather was known for repeatedly avoiding exchanges in order to pick his shots (not just in the Baldomir fight). However, Solis wasnt coasting to a decision in this fight or trying to look pretty, he was legitimately having problems dealing with Donaire's size and had blood running down his face by the first few rounds.
Which zab judah fight was this?
Junior Witter, Micky Ward. He'd battle like he's capable of for 4-5 rds then coast the rest of the way to protect his comfy lead.
Theres a huge difference between movement and MOVEMENT. Whitaker would be at in-fighting range making you whiff but never being out of range to throw and never missing combo opportunities. Nothing wrong there.
Pulling a Zab Judah and throwing 1 punch every 30secs midway through a world title fight and getting on a horse to protect a 4pt lead as opposed to trying to finish the fight is a huge problem though
Which zab judah fight was this?
Well, my point was that Donaire didnt bring anything to this fight other than pressure. Solis didnt have the option of standing toe to toe with Donaire as some people suggested he should have because Donaire is much larger and his primary focus seemed to be pressing forward and landing one big shot rather than engaging in an exchange of punches as many of Mayweather's opponents have attempted to do. When the two did exchange punches back and forth, Solis got the better of most of them.

"I dont understand how you say he wasnt running like mayweather, but the way you described that fight, and the excitement involved in it (or lack thereof) basically resembled the baldomir fight in every way, even right down to your description and the fact that yes, in the second half, donaire basically stopped throwing."
