Mike tyson is small compared to wlad, but frankly a prime tyson would murder him. And I don't even rate tyson in my top 10 heavys I don't think Haye is too small to be a HW, but his size and strength advantage that gave him success at CW, despite having poor defense and chin, will be completely negated at HW, making him average. Prime Tyson murders Wlad? That must be pre Douglas Tyson right? The 22 year old Tyson that was fighting journeyman, inactive out of shape ex champs and LHWs right? I honestly dont know. I guess Im one of the few who think that Haye wont get anywhere if he fights any of those guys listed.

Not relevant to my point. Exact. Same. Difference. A shorter, less powerful boxer with a questionable chin moving up in weight to face the dominant fighter in the division.

I'm sure his defense will be much improved.

But like I say Kayjay, after watching two safety first tedious fights on the bounce from Wlad it's clear to see why people are excited about this guy. I have Cotto in my top 10 p4p. Would I favor him to beat Pavlik? Hell no.

Are any of those fighters you've listed, quicker then Haye? I'll be surprised most of them could find Haye. A lot of them fighters move like statues.

fights with fear in his eyes, no inside skills, relies on straight rights, has a terrible chin, crap stamina, no guts. Fixed it for you. Remind you of anyone? You can get very far at HW with major weaknesses.

Haye should have been heavy a while back. I have no idea how in the world did he managed to go down to 200lbs with his body. I mean the guy is SOLID

Haye loves fighting people that are taller than him, and the overhand right isn't his only punch. He does need a better defense because of his weak chin, but if he works at that I think he'll go all the way at h/w. And if he doesn't, at least you know his fights'll be a lot more exciting than most heavyweight fights we get these days. You just need a different set of eyes for a HW fight. They're chess matches in which a single punch ends it. If you want to see flailing punches and not stop pitter patter, that's what the midget divisions are for.
