If Pacquiao - Valero happens..

Valero is actually in his prime. Guzman is older than Pacman. I thought everyone wanted to see him fight someone in their prime I know Guzman is older but he doesn't have too much wear and tear from fighting. He was never in the kind of battles that put the type of aging the guys like Morales and Barrera had. And at this point Guzman is better then Valero and would give Pac a lot more trouble.

how can Valero be a Bum? he was a title holder at 130! and his record is all knockouts no losses! And Trust me on this Valero is too powerful for manny this guy will just get stronger when he goes up in weight! he is the same body as pacman but bigger same muscles. but he hits harder then pacman, and has more power and bottom line Valero can take a punch he will taste pacmans punch and smile. you predicted Diaz over Pacman damn ! you've just jinxed valero !

You have to give him some credit for beating an undefeated titleholder. Sure it won't be the same credit he would get for beating Guzman but Valero is a good opponent and would make an exciting fight. I already rate Pac pretty high...beating Valero won't change my oppinion one bit

... How many people are going to say Valero is just a bum if Pacquiao destroys him?? Arum is already planning it for Nov. for Pacquiao.. And also can anyone really say Pacquiao is ducking anybody?? Just a thought... Fight hasnt even happened yet and theres already people saying it wouldnt be fair at 135 because pacman is too fast, too big, too strong. And yet the people that claim this are the same people that keep blabbing that pacman's ducked valero, guzman, and soto for years....and that even though they chased him up to lightweight pacman'll still never fight him cuz they would fuck pacman's day up. But now Valero and Guzman are finally next in line...all of a sudden they change their tune saying that it still will not be a good win because pacman has too many advantages. Some people just dont know what they want...and some people are just haters...i wouldnt worry about either too much if i were you.

I can't see how Valero can deal with Manny, he has poor footwork, little hand speed and little boxing technique. Manny should pound the shit out of Valero and if he did not stop him i would be disapointed, but I think he looks like a tougher fight on paper then he actually would be for Manny. That said because other fighters are spoken for Valero might be the best opponent out there for him and it is an interesting fight.

I wouldnt call him a bum, but you have to admit that he is a little bit unproven. on the other hand, if Valero went on to accomplish a lot... it would be a fun fight, which is my #1 reason for wanting it, but I kind of would like Valero to become more popular first/get some big wins. wouldnt want people to miss out on a fight like that.
