What do u guys think, is Chris Arreola going to be the American savior for the Heavyweight division? 1 thing is for sure, he will give us fans great fights in the future.
What are ur thoughts on this fighter?
I think Ibragimov is the wrong opponent for Arreola. He makes everyone he fights look bad. He's an opponent I'd avoid unless I was forced to fight.
You beat me to it...From what I've gathered on Arreola...he's a relentless guy but he would get schooled by a fighter like Sultan...A boxer with movement would give Arreola all types of problems... Whenever Chazz gave Arreola movement....Arreola looked average...When Chazz just traded with him...it was a long night for Chazz (and you guys saw the outcome of the fight)...Arreola has good potential but he needs to be more versatile before I could see him winning a title. He is a good prospect though...I wish the best for..He seems like a down to earth guy.
I wouldn't call him a fake at all! He is what he is, an aggressive warrior that is lacking in the defense dept. I think he has an exciting style and even if he never wins a world title, I'm sure all of his fights will provide entertainment..
He keeps his hands up pretty well when he's on defense, but then when he switches to offense, he leads with his face, not good.
Arreola has potential to be a great fighter and is getting better each fight. He came in at his lighest weight when he fought Whitherspoon. I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Sultan Ibragimov or David Haye in the near future. I think Klitschko and Peter will hurt Arreola at this level of his development.

I dont see much in him honestly i think he is sloppy and wild, if he got in there with a good fighter hed probably lose, I think him and eddy chambers might be a nice fight, Maybe he would do good againgst povectkin but against elite competition? He will not make it, I dont think he could hang with klit or valueve, He and sam peter would be a good match up however
Espn, Tedday Atlas and Joe Tessttorie once made a comment of Arreola and they laughed at him in the heavyweight division.
Because of that remark i lost respect for them, because they are on Brina Mintos balls and from what i've seen Arreoloa would beat Minto.
I wish Arreola luck.
Arreola-Minto would be an entertaining fight. Minto is underrated.

It's still too early to tell, but I'm definitely pulling for the guy. He represents a warrior in the HW division, a change of pace from overgrown football players walking around with their right hand cocked but scared to find out what the other guy is holding.
Arreola is somewhat limited in boxing skills and was about 10 pounds overweight for his fight with Witherspoon, but he's tough as heck and a strong puncher.
Jason Estrada is calling him out, so that may be his next fight.
Estrada brings nothing to the table. I can't see HBO buying that. Arreola is shooting for Tua, or at least some name heavyweight next. He may not be world class, but Cris will be a tough fight for almost anyone.
he has a lot of potential but is very unpolished. as of right now and in the near future with the HW division looking like total gong water, arreola has a good chance with some refinement, he certianly has the pressure and the heart, and a decent beard so far................
he stays on the route that he's going, he'll do fine, and make some real good fights for us to watch............he has a fan friendly style which is what he HW's are desperately needing.......

I found it strange after watching him that he'd had over 200 amateur fights, the guy looks raw and awkward as hell. But he does seem to have some pop and is very aggressive with a good chin. I wish him well.
