Incase some haven't told you yet, and this will be my first bandwagon, your avatar is quite gayish.
Hopefully, you'll notice the Queen in the OP's name. The person is most likely a girl.
not really. As long as you're not malignaggi weak, a constant beating over a small surface area will take a cumulative toll. The idea is not to get through the shell per se. But rather be in a position where it makes it real difficult for them to mount a counteroffensive.
I noticed Roy was using this defense in the Tito fight, Cal will have his hands full if Roy uses it against him.
You can surmise that one has to have power when facing the turtle defense

Exactly though. Getting hit on the forearm hurts more because you dont have as much meat there. and if you're pounding away at almost a 90degree angle from your opponent he's either going to move his forearm and give you the openings you're looking for or break his forearm or he's going to expose himself trying to reach across trying to get some offense going

You can move the forearm though imo. Hit something that won't move. You can make a guy miss if you aim for he forearm. The arm has to stay bent to block punches, so I say hit the bicep. Hitting the forearm isn't a bad idea either.

When I boxed, I hit the biceps muscle, the pit of the stomach, used a shot gun jab, attacked the body, and stepped back. I also feinted a lot to get an opening. Remember Eric Harding-Roy Jones??? Jones kept hitting Harding on the arms swo much that he tore his bicep muscle blocking punches. The muscle ripped from the tendon.
Thats pretty much what i said in my explanation on the 3rd page. However in my experience i found it more effective to target the forearm. You dont have to worry about getting through it since you're not getting hit anyway. Just put yourself in a position where you can take out the effectiveness of his power arm by pounding away and he has to reach across his body to counter at all leaving him exposed and awkward
Exactly!! Mix it up and get busy - alot of endurance is involved but your gauranteed rounds or the opening up of the turtle shellyep, thats why kelly is gonna dethrone the "king"
Mix Up Upper Cuts And Hooks To The Body And Head That'll Crack That Shell Wide Open

Seriously your avatar is so gay. Put up a young broad with a nice ass. (Julia Bond, Tera Patrick, Flower Tucci). Something that my eyes can enjoy.
Maybe he is a she or is gay you dick. Give up. Who gives a fuck! Not everyone on this board has to be a hetero bogan who digs chicks with fat asses for f*cks sake.
:nonono:
The way to beat an opponent's tight guard is to make them engage. It's hard to really, consistently counter out of given how tight you have to hold and how your body is placed... so all you do is jab into their guard and throw a few to the body then step out. The key is making them come to you while you simply cruise ahead on activity while still landing a few shots here and there waiting for them to do something.
That's why Wright's D is so good... he stays in that tight shell but still controls the majority of the fight by pumping out that jab so frequently.
I thought Vargas and Taylor did a good job of it against Wright. The trick? PUNCH HARD
Taylor's key weapon in that fight seemed to be to throw hard punches against Wright's gloves in such a manner as to make as loud a noise as possible. It seemed to work, too: Lampley was screaming about right hands that hit Winky's gloves.
