Who is the tougher challenge for Mayweather?

I would say Pavlik. He is so much bigger that if they fought PBF wouldn't be able to land lead rights. On top of that Pavlik landing on PBF's sholder or even forearms would ware down PBF. PBF's only chance it to totally dodge Pavliks punches which isn't really his style.

I said it once and ill say it again. Winky wright beat floyd at a catch weight 154. Winky has all the tools to beat him and Im willing to beat big money on winky if the fight ever went down.

Pavlik. The size, strength and power would be a big challenge for Mayweather.

Its nonse to consider a posible match between Maywether and Pavlik. Pavlik its too much for a guy of the size of Floyd and for every guy of that size. Guys thats why we got weight classes in boxing to maintain the level of competition in a fare place. It doesnt mean that Pavlik is better skillwise. Its like think that is posible that a guy of 5"5 can compete in the worlds strongest man competition and be succesfull.

It's insanity to choose Cotto in this poll. No offense to Cotto, but Pavlik is two weight classes higher and a destructive champion. If Floyd tries to shoulder roll on the ropes against Pavlik, he'd get his liver and kidneys pulverized. It would be suicide against Pavlik, and this is from a guy who thinks Floyd is P4P #1 in the world.

Voted for Cotto because a Mayweather-Pavlik fight is nonsense... We all know Paulie's gonna TKO Pavlik in the opening round in his MW debut before Mayweather ever moves up. Then move up to LH and KO Dawson, Johnson, RJJ, and Tarver all in the first 6 rounds. Finally he'll move up to HW by then having grown a real set of Eddy Gordo dreads granting him Samson like powers. He'll KO Peter, both Klitchskos and finally cap off the greatest resume of all time by facing David Haye for the UFC HW championship and force him to tap out with a rear naked choke followed by a flying spinning dropkick to Dana White's face... I think matchups-wise Floyd can pull a Cory Spinks or Bernard Hopkins on Pavlik, it's not a given at all but it's possible nonetheless. I think Cotto has great footwork and confusing combos to deal with. I think that's bad for Mayweather. He'll close his mind maybe. hell no... pavlik's reach and power is just too much and pavlik can go 12 hard rounds without gassing.

Cotto or Pavlik? The reason I ask this because the last thread where I listed 10 fighters for PBF they both came out on top and the gap between both of then was only 5 votes (There was around 40 votes for them in total). i can't believe that some people actually believe that cotto is a tougher challenge than pavlik... that's nut-huggery on epic proportions...

Cotto at 147 is tough but winnable. A fight wit Pavlik would be at 160. PBF would get murdered.
