If De La Hoya doesnt dominate Forbes the way he is expected to, what will that mean?

It will prove that he had an illustrious career, but his Golden Years are behind him.

Let's say Oscar wins, but has a hard time doing it. Wins by a SD or a UD by only 1-2 points. What if he isnt able to KO Forbes? What if Forbes is able to hurt Oscar? Would would be the significance of a lackluster performance by Oscar De La Hoya? if oscar can't KO or dominate Forbes it means he will definitely lose to floyd in the rematch and the monetary earnings for the floyd/oscar rematch won't be maximized to its full potential.

Then he needs to get his ass back out of the gym. People overlook Forbes who is a pretty good fighter in his own right. It's already been proven DLH isn't as good as he used to be.

It will mean what most people are already thinking and that is that PBF is going to beat De la Hoya again but this time it will even more convincing than the first win.

Trust me Dela Hoya WILL dominate Forbes where it counts, on the score cards. Regardless what happens in the fight, heck Dela Hoya could get knocked down and dominated in every round he will win a decision. On paper Dela Hoya should win easily. That being said Forbes can ONLY win by complete K.O. It's the nature of boxing Dela Hoya is suppose to win because he's where the money is. Those that doubt me should see his fight against Felix Sturn.

It doesn't mean anything. Forbes isn't even in the same weight class as Oscar. Last time I saw Forbes he was fighting Famoso Hernandez at 130! But sure enough after DLH savagely knocks out Forbes everyone is going to act like DLH still has it and how FLoyd vs DLH 2 is now interesting.

He is at the very end of his career and has no chance to win at fight with anybody worth fighting.

A junior welter with 8 KO's hurting him? It means he'd better wear a suit everyday because his days as a top fighter are over.

I think he may ko Forbes early. Just like he did Charpiente years ago in front of a sell out crowd similar to the 24k seats already sold to see him fight. Only way Forbes last is if he uses his legs in every round.

A decision is a loss, no way that he should go the distance against Forbes under ant circumstance. I heard he looks chiseled and is all tanned up again, is taht True, I heard it, just heard it.
