I would sign with Top Rank, but only if I wasn't in the same division as Cotto or Pacquiao because Arum won't give you the same promotional push as Cotto or Pacqiuao... Just look at how Arum has done Margarito all these years without 1 big fight.
Golden Boy, IMHO is more willing to let their fighters fight it out. That said, the worst thing about GBP is that Delahoya steals everyone's thunder whenever he fights.
Margarito should have fought Cotto by now. He lost. He also offered Mosley, De La Hoya and Mayweather fights with Margarito. None of those men took the fight. They can't FORCE the fights.
Nonetheless, I'd sign with Golden Boy. More influence, more chances, company on the upswing.
Top Rank is the best at picking the right opposition to build a fighter. Golden Boy is closing in on them and they get more HBO dates, but today my choice would still be Top Rank.
It's really a toss up...but I would probably have to go with Golden Boy, Since Arum (who started De La Hoya's Career) is becoming more delusional since he's moved up in age...
If you're the real deal, then Golden Boy.
If you're just starting out in your pro career, then Arum.
Golden Boy pushes you and doesn't know yet, how to really guide a fighter. They belive everybody is Delahoya and has to fight the toughest and best opponet every time out.
Arum has produced fighter like Pavlik, Margarito, etc, who with other promoter may not have had the chance to flourish and take baby steps to fullfill there potential. Arum would slowly guide there fighter.
just tought id ask since alot of people have different opinion on these two.

Golden Boy seems to have more stroke. And Arum has some ridiculous qoute about lying or some shit I can't remember. Not that Golden Boy or any other promotional group is 100% honest.
