Cotto is the tougher fight........Margarito has nothing for him.
Cotto has proven himself against different type of opponents with different styles and always won convincingly. Margarito hasn't done that.
I'll Give Margarito this. I don't think Floyd could knock him out where
I think that there is at least a chance of Floyd scoring a TKo over Cotto.
lol, funny post
Rod Barker,
just let Bazooka be. He is so desperate to see floyd lose that any somewhat competitive fight that Floyd isn't completely dominating automatically means that he is losing. Guys like him have been in pain for so long seeing Floyd own fighters in the last few years that this is all they have left. He has no credible argument for Oscar winning other then his "you have to take the title from the champ" bullshit that was thrown around in the old days.
Any close fight, just give it to the other guy because they might never see it again.
It's sad.
He was what against clottey? are you trying to say lossing? look he broke clottey down period with a broken wrist and a strained ankle clottey had a bruised fucking knuckle and quit in the last third of the fight.
if you think he broke clottey down then floyd put the beats on oscar because that clottey margarito fight could of went either way and margarito looked worst than clottey did after the fight
margarito is slow and sloppy floyd will make him miss and have him look stupid the whole fight but if floyd was to fight margarito the way he fought hatton and oscar margarito could win.cotto is a much better boxer than margarito and knows how to adjust to fights i'm not sure if margarito does so i would have to say cotto would give floyd more of a problem
Thanks for the input Vlad
Tony has to be set to punch..
Floyd would be a nightmare for him..
Tony doesn't even use his height..so his size wouldn't even be a factor..
He was LOST against Clottey..and couldn't inflict any damage whatsoever..even after Clottey stopped punching..
One could only imagine how beffuddled he'd be against Floyd..

That is not the topic the topic is, who gives Floyd a bigger challenge? that is Margarito anybody who says other wise is just fucking blind.

You telling me the judges were right lol , take your blinkers off then go watch the fight without sound and use slow mo and rewind and see what actually lands for real , Floyd won in cruise control fact !
Floyd didnt win in cruise control, infact Roger told Floyd at the end of the 9th or tenth that DLH was winning the fight.
However you can think what you like but the fact remains DLH didnt get the win he deserved and its fucked up that people in the sport hate so fucking much that they aint man enough to admit the real.
but in keeping it real that means you have to accept the reality that you were wrong and being since you predicted a Floyd win we wouldnt want to do that now would we?
You have to take it from the champion is a bullshit cliche said by losers , you have to score and evade better than the other guy and Floyd did ,,,, when has Oscar looked so clean probably after fighting any guy that is so much smaller ,, you can hate on Floyd all you want but when guys like you dont acknowledge what he achieved giving a fighter like Oscar 14lbs on the night and a boxing lesson it really only shows your bias views , if Floyd stayed at his best weight of jnr Welter he would unify and would stop every jnr welter in the top 10 , the top welters are huge compared to Floyd do you realize the handicap he has before the bell even sounds at welterweight , for fuck sake get real world buddy .
you call a one point SD a fucking boxing lesson? your crazy you want to see a boxing lesson watch Lewis vs Tua or Lewis Holyfield 1 or Tyson Lewis that is a boxing lesson not that shit you saw last year
Floyd wasnt the real fucking champ not at 154 son you just proved my point right fucking there you have no clue as to what you speak of.
Oscar was a title holder and the whole "you have to take the title from the champ" crap is old. You score fight round for round and Floyd won more rounds then Oscar. He landed more punches then Oscar. He swept the last 4 rounds.........simple as that.
You guys are so desperate to see Floyd lose that you will jump at any oppritunity and say that Floyd lost if the fight is close. He dominates so many fights and makes them look one sided that you have to do this once a fight is somewhat competitive.
It's pathetic and desperate............True story
The whole "you have to take the title" crap is nonsense. It was for a bogus belt. Floyd was the real champ and Delahoya was trying to give him his first loss and claimed that he would be the new P4P champion if he beats Floyd. .
Floyd wasnt the real fucking champ not at 154 son you just proved my point right fucking there you have no clue as to what you speak of.
reasonable your out of your fucking mind, a draw is the most Floyd deserved you have to take the title that means you have to come forward and make the fight, Floyd did not do that period. Floyd did not win he got a gift in his backyard.

That WBC belt was just there so the fight goes 12 rounds.......in reality Oscar was the challanger.
The only people who dispute that Floyd won this convincingly are the haters who waited for one of the judges to finally vote against Floyd and now they think they got something. Yet those same people are against a rematch because they know Oscar will lose again. There is only so much Oscar can do and it isn't enough for a victory.
Any reasonable fan had it 8 rounds to 4 for Floyd.
This is not even worth debating as it's old and I've covered it plenty of times.

You are not an official judge, like I said Floyd didnt win that fight he got the nod but he didnt beat Oscar you have to take it from the champion period and if you think like Bernard look at his face vs mine as he said after his fight with Calzaghe, well look at Floyds face vs Oscar, and when has Oscar looked so clean after a fight? Oscar looked like he didnt even get hit, as to where Floyds face was busted up.
its just a matter of Floyd getting the balls to fight him honestly.

Hmmm yes he did.........I had him winning 8 rounds to 4 easy.
And you tend to forget that it was Floyd's first fight at 154. No tune ups no nothing. He agreed to every term Oscar demanded....gluves, ring size etc,.
Prime or not prime......Oscar has problems against skilled boxers who move and don't stand in front of him. A way past his prime on crack cocaine Pernell Whitaker showed that almost beating him.
Floyd defeated a naturally bigger man the only way he could.......I was impressed. And lets not forget that Oscar that he fought would have beaten Margarito and any other welter that night with the exception of Mosley maybe.

Castillo is a great lightweight. He was the top guy multiple times in his division. Margarito was not a champion. A trashy belt was vacant and he got it and held on to it until somebody bigger then him with an equally good chin came around and beat him.
All people asked of Margarito is to beat Paul Williams who was calling him out and he failed. This is his last chance and after he losses to Cotto his name won't be mentioned among the top welterweights anymore.
Thank god.

cotto of course. this was a very easy pick. mayweather would take care of margarito EASILY. this question shouldn't even be asked. it should be cotto, mosley, dlh and forrest in the list for a poll like this and no others.
I agree with your post man.
It will be just like the Baldomir fight. He gets almost shut out.. Cotto will give Floyd the most problems.IMO.. Williams and Clottey presented the blue print on how to beat Margorito. Move around effectively and outbox him. There is no way you're going to hurt Margorito...so you're best bet is to outpoint him. If he can take bombs from Cintron (who is the hardest hitting welterweight out of all welterweights today) I seriously think that any other welterweight could KO Margorito. Tony's shots are very wild and looping.
Cotto is the more better match up. Its clear as day.
Margario was longest reining title holder at WW and had and stil has fought and beatin more ranked welters then any current titlist.
Castillo was good, but not great like you are making him out to be. He had 4 losses  ..remember that excuses. bunghole?

I voted Cotto, but I think I'd take that back and say Margarito.
That being said, I don't think either of them poses much of a threat to Floyd. They'll win some rounds or might put him in hot water once or twice, but I'd favor Floyd to win both easily enough.
