Not a hate thread.....we all know Hopkins can use the ''age caught up to me excuse'' but im curious as to what Calzaghes will be if he loses? Calzaghes pride is way too big to just accept the loss, there will be something he says. I hope he doesn't use any excuses. The posters on this forum will however. Here's a few I've got ready: Hopkins fought dirty. The officials were extremely biased. He didn't lose. It was ROBBERY! The crowd got to him. Hopkins got 13 seconds to recover on both knockdowns. Joe's cut wasn't as bad as Vitali's.

Personally, I hope that Big Joe can beat the immature, imbecilic racist Hopkins (who claimed that in London the temperature was usually minus 25 centigrade!) and that he will not need excuses. I just hope that a very tiny minority of overly drunken morons who happen to be British do not boo the glorious American national anthem, if is played of course. If that happens then we could see yet more outrageously bad officiating against a British World Champion.

There is nothing he can say. Hopkins may be a great Champion but Calzaghe has been a World Champion for longer and thus has more experience. The better fighter should win, and I hope all the British fans and all the American fans get to see a great spectacle. The only way he could complain is if the refereeing performance is as outrageous as the one we saw against Ricky Hatton in December.

There's nothin he can say unless Bernard gets dirty and doesn't get penalized. Then he'll be whinin like his pal Hatton that the ref fucked him. But Bernard actually does fight dirty sometimes. Hatton keeps bitchin about in fightin not bein permitted rather than actual fouls.

I think Joe has always been afaraid of black fighters and if he is not able to beat Bernard it will be because of how black Bernard is and I think if Joe gives post fight comments he will say as much.
