Aaron Pryor vs Kostya Tzyu

Aaron ud or tko late in the fight

Aaron will give him a bad beating.

Tyszu was too inconsistent. He got KTFO by Phillips. Rafael Ruelas had him hurt in the second round. Oktay Urkal gave him a very good fight that could have gone either way. Diosbelys Hurtado had him hurt and down twice in the first round. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think Tyszu was very good but not in the same level as Pryor and Chavez. And anybody who say's "well he beat Chavez" Willy Wise had already beat the shit out of an old Chavez who was a shell of his former self. Mostly crap here... The Urkal fight could of gone either way??? Urkal came back impressively in the last round, winning it well, but he'd lost almost all of the previous rounds. Rafael Ruelas landed the occaissional good shot, but for the most part Tszyu delivered an absolutely brutal beating. Hurtado had him down early, but Tszyu was the one delivering most of the punishment from then on, finishing Hurtado brutally, & pretty much finished him as a top level fighter. Phillips beat him in one of the biggest upsets, & seeing how Tszyu never rematched him that leaves a big question marks, but Tszyu had a lot of other big wins to make up for it. As for Pryor, he was also knocked down early in a few fights, but came back. Was also pretty messy at times. If both fighters were at their best, would favour Pryor by close decision over 12 - taking some big shots early mid-rounds, but outworking Tszyu late. In a 15 rounder, suspect Pryor may get a late stoppage.

No contest, and that's no disrespect to Tszyu who was a very good fighter but Pryor was a phenominal fighter and one of the all time greats.

Pryor by UD or late TKO. He throws too many punches for Kostya to handle over the long haul.

before Tszyu lost to Phillips i'd pick Pryor in a hell of a fight, after the Phillips fight, i'd go with Tszyu, I think Pryor would force Tszyu to attack like he used to before the Phillips fight but after that experican with Phillips Tszyu's attack would be more controlled, helping him against Pryor in a close fight Tyszu was not busy enough nor did he have the mentally to be in wars. I see Pryror as the aggressor and Tyszu getting discouraged from Pryror's no stop attack. Pryror would out work him on both inside and out side because Tyszu wasn't a good inside fighter from what i have seen. He was mainly a head hunter and boxer puncher. Phillips and Hatton both out lasted Tyszu and can't see Tyszu hanging in there with Pryror.

I would even go as far to say that Aaron could of beaten Sugar Ray Leonard too. Only thing Sugar never wanted to face him kind of sad. Would of been a very nice fight. I haven't seen many fights of Pryor but i disaggree. I think Leonard was too big for Pryor.

Agreed, If Vince Phillips and Ricky Hatton was able to out last Tszyu, then what would a peak Aaron Pryror do? He would simply be too much. Not only could he out box him, but he could out slug/last him as well. Not that Tyszu doesn't have heart because he does, its just that he doesn't hold up in those wars like that. Pryor by late TKO, especially if it was a 15 round fight. Pryor never stopped coming forward and throwing punches, he'd get tagged a few times but he had a great chin and I think he'd overwhelm Tszyu in the later stages of the fight.
