your talking like they actually wrestle. its fake scripted wrestling. its just a soap opera for grown men.
yeah 25, I know that man! The thing is thread starter was talking about how come Ali and Tyson got props for thier stints, but not Floyd. At least Antonio Inoki got on his back and was trying to kick the sh*t out of Ali. Yo I aint got a clip of it, but Ali did slap Inoki in his face!
Wrestling was cool when Bruno Samartino was running things. Bob Backland too!
Do know what i think it is people had a bit of repect for tyson and defintly for ali but hardly any body has any respect for mayweather and they think it will be bad for boxing for him to go on wwe and act like a twat
Look at it from a different perspective. Those that say "Size doesn't matter" have never been in a prison yard. Given both Ali's and Tyson's frame, weight, and boxing ability, it is unlikely they will become somebody's B*tch. With that said, given Mayweather's size, even with all his boxing talent, ability, and all, should he and the Big Show be Cell Mates in State Prison, it is highly unlikely that David will be running Goliath. WWE is turning into the clowns from Wringling Bros, chasing each other and the midget sneaks underneath stretcho's legs, all for the amusement of the kiddy's.
Poeple would buy into the WWE event If Mayweather were to compete with a wrestler that makes logical sense.

2 of the biggest names in the history of the sport did it, why are people criticizing Mayweather so much??

I find the WWE terrible and boring, and even with Floyd part of it, I view the WWE no different. I'm not going to order the PPV, hell I'm not going to even watch the damn thing period.
But what does that have to do with "smart business moves"? It's giving him a lot of exposure. Even though I don't personally like the WWE, it's a very big industry that has proven itself over the years.
the fact that you feel im addressing you with that post is quite telling of your emotional state. are you a "stan"? are you a "nuthugger"? because thats who i was addressing.
Did... did.... did you just make an Eminem reference?
Oh dear god.
Well I just lost all respect for you.
i find "stan" easier to type than "nuthugger" and i never really wanted your respect. you like tennis. :ugh:
i dont really care that he "wrestles", but what i find funny is how prior to floyd doing this, his little fans would cry whenever someone would call him boring and respond with shit like, "well if you dont like Floyd's style, then you dont like Boxing, go watch UFC or that WWE shit."
but now that Floyd is doing WWE, its the smartest business move he's ever made? fuckouttahere with that shit. thats why no one takes his stans serious.

What did I tell you about trying to speak for his "stans" or trying to read their minds. You make yourself sound like deevel when you do that ignorant shit.
aint no ignorant shit here son, im just tellin the truth which is something you only find offensive when in context to floyd fanatitics but you never seem to care when the generalization is the other way. there are plenty of floydians doing what im doing but to you, it is only crime when i do it.
The truth is I have never been the biggest supporter of floyd but he did fight the best at 130,135 he then won the lineal title at welterweight and beat the lineal champ from 140.
I want to see him fight Cotto but I don't see Miguel beating him but it will be a huge event when it does happen.
I know his record.
The point I was making is many fighters don't fight the top guys back to back to back, I used Jeffries because that is your username.
People are giving Floyd a hard time because they don't like him, many fighter have taken time off while being on top.
I don't like Floyd's style of fighting and don't really care for the "500K on the wrist" or his personality in general. I do have respect for his talent and he might possibly be the best to ever lace up gloves. What irritates me more than anything is that I believe he is in his prime right now, and is pissing away his chance to prove it. That said he has a pretty damn decent resume and has earned the right to make a few bucks if he wants to.
Not sure what Jim Jeffries has to do with this discussion, but 4 of those 7 bouts were against hall of famers, and he won his belt from a hall of famer, so I'm not sure what your point is.
He lost one fight in his career, after 6 years without so much as a tuneup fight, to another hall of famer, still managed to go 15 rounds with the great Jack Johnson before his corner threw in the towel.

Because Mayweather's a cock.
Joe Louis did a bit of wrestling too, didn't he?
I read his auto biography and he did it because he was desperate for money,
Jim Jeffries fought a total of 7 times over 5 years after winning the heavyweight title.
Let's not get carried away here.

The demand for a Cotto-PBF fight is big enough now that anything Floyd does outside of it is gonna get shit on. For now making sideshow money is excusable for him. But he can't go much longer though without fighting the winner of the Cotto-Gomez-Cintron-Marg mini tournament. His top challenger will emerge from that series and after he's done wrestling and fighting DLH again if he don't fight whichever one of em comes out on top fuck him.

the motherfucking difference is they fight a real fight while floyd fights a fake shit. nuff said.
Like we need an ignorant twat like you giving an opinion.
I think it's safe to say that Thomas was waaaaaay past it at that point.
Mayweather is just wasting away his prime.
