Seriously, I really need a education on what makes a fighter an all time great. I mean Paq has litterally been blessed with the privlage to fight nothing but what appears before hand, to be "low risk bouts," wich is evident in his choice of opponents. It's like Paq was takin on anyone before the first Marquez fight, but after that first Marquez fight, he's been takin care off and carefully handled like, like......like a national treasure lol. If u can honestly say no then please provide me with logical reasons why you would not consider Pac an all time great but had JMM achieved the same achievements you would consider him so. It was a legitimate bout for a number of reason, principle among these being that Hatton was the Man at 140 lbs and Floyd didn't fight him there, but he did fight the Man at 130, 135 and 147 as well as the best at 154. But second was the sheer size worldwide of the fight. Margarito getting outpointed by Paul Williams just wasn't on that level.

Depends how you rate ATGs. i think theres only 20 and its an exclusive club. HOF definately but ATG? Not yet. I can think of 20 fighters in history better

Flyweight is 112 lbs. Junior featherweight/super bantamweight is 122 lbs. That's a 10 pound, 3 weight class difference. The reason people say super feather is the same as junior lightweight is because they are both 130 lbs.

I think that pacquaio may be an all time great. although not due to the fact that he is a multiple weight champion. There are so many weight classes these days that an increase of 12lbs can see you become a 4 weight world champion, which is ridiculous. e.g Bantamweight to super bantam to feather and finally to super feather only equates to a measley weight increase of 12lbs. A more accurate argument for pacquaio being an all time great can be formed around the fact that he has beaten the like's of Morales, Barrera, Marquez and oscar Larios (most of them twice for good measure)

Manny is easily a great one, in the LaBarba/McLarnin/Harada mold. He could go past that, but that's about where he is right now. Three lineal world titles (12, 26, 30), an alphabelt reign at 22...and 30 is the only division where he didn't hit the peak by KO. Bad ass.

Pacman is already a ATG in my eyes because hes a 5 wieght division champ IBF Super Bantamweight, WBC Flyweight ,IBF Junior Featherweight Champion, WBC feather wieght champ, WBC super feather wieght champ and ring magazine junior lightwieght champ. Now he will win a belt as a lightwieght then he will defo become the best pound 4 pound fighter in the world but thats if mayweather doesnt fight cotto and if pac wins of course. Not really. Manny will lose in lightweight because he will be the smaller boxer everytime. I don't think people realize how good Mayweather really is. He's so good he could be fighting fucking WWE stars for all his remaining career and people would still be wow that's some sick skill and p4p number one. I also like Manny Pacquiao but he disapointed me vs Marquez. Marquez was a better boxer that night and Manny boxed for shit. I think he is an A.T.G. as well! Win, lose, or draw he's moved up in weight classes taking on the best opposition available & he captured titles in 3 (could be 4 at lightweight) different divisions; That speaks volumes! Throw in the fact that he already has K.O. victories over 2 hall of famers in Barerra & Morales... I think that's enough for a 1st ballot hall of fame entry & to be considered an A.T.G.
