JMM won the 12th round, Pac won the 11th round. In the 11th, JMM was hitting air and gloves while Pac landed more punches. About the 8th round, it is not a 10-8 round. JMM won the 8th but he did not do anything to make it a 10-8, it is a 10-9.

i scored the 8th round 10-8 for Marquez also! that body shot was viscious! in that case you should also score rd 3 10-7 for pac because jmm was saved by the ropes just before the bell rang, same thing with rd 9 too because that straight lef that landed plush on jmm's right eye was vicious too.

Round 9 was Manny's round. I guess that makes up for the idiot who gave Pac the 12th round. no it doesn't...rd 9 clearly belong to pac and rd 12 was razor-thin close.

It was a major robbery, I gave pacman 2 maybe 3 rounds. The KD didnt mean shit because Marquez won round 8; 10-8 pacman only landed 5 punches in 8 Marquez landed over 20. i scored the 8th round 10-8 for Marquez also! that body shot was viscious!

I said I thought, as most people did, that it was a close but clear victory for Marquez and I guarantee that in a rematch it would go to Marquez. He just knows how to beat Pacquiao. Again, I was wondering more than anything why Pacquiao refused a rematch? It would be the most lucrative for him in terms of money since most people thought it was not a clear victory for him. There is no one else that has fought 24 rounds with him and won about 18 of them. You seriously believe that Marquez got a gift over Barrera? You think Barrera beat Marquez but Marquez lost this fight? You've got some pretty weird concepts on judging a fight obviously if you think Marquez/Barrera was a robbery. it was close but marquez counterpunched the shit out of him, the judges get wooed by pacman coming in with quick combinations, even if they don't land. they should be forced to fight again, two fights and no clear winner if you ask me., i thought marquez did enough to win though he did but the difference this time was pac's defense was tighter. i didn't even see jmm used his uppercut...prolly wary of pac's both hands now. but again, most boxing fans are blinded by a counter puncher. however, pac threw he harder and punishing punches and was the one initiating most of the actions. pac controlled agression served him well last night. i was surprised he threw more jabs than marquez. pac's showed a lot of improvement last night. he still look awkward at times but he fought a more matured and intelligen fight. jmm showed some good head movements too and was harder for pac to land the devastating left straight and right hook. props to both fighters for a great fight. now if jmm could just have been a gracious loser... pac might have given him one more chance. nah, it's his difficulty in making the 130-lb limit, i think. well jmm can still hang in the 130's and still get a belt...but he better hurry. the young guns are coming. congrats to manny for finally getting a world titles after a long while.

This is what I've been trying to figure out...everyone, from the commentators to the press row scorers, said Pac needed the last two rounds and he simply lost them...period. Man, I feel so sorry for Marquez. This was his time to shine and beat Pacquiao clearly I thought. It was no robbery but it was a clear victory. The really pathetic thing I thought was Pacquiao completely refusing a rematch after it. Marquez fought with a badly cut head butted eye, which in the Morales fight Pacquiao had a fit about and said thats the reason he lost, and still won and yet Pacquiao refuses him a rematch?!?!? Isn't Pacquiao meant to be boxings ultimate warrior? Willing to fight anyone, anytime? There were 2 cuts on Marquez' eye. The bigger cut was caused by a punch..

If you think I'm a sore loser for scoring the fight for marquez then that means you're biased, a lot of people scored it for marquez. Ask the associated press, espn, boxingscene and ringside scorers from maxboxing who won the fight. People have different opinions. And mexico really doesn't take things too seriously, Pac is probably gonna get a parade and they're gonna declare it pac-day in the phillippines. If marquez would have won he would not have gotten a parade for his troubles, just a pat on the back. well p.i. doesn't do it for every single fighter who won a world championship belt. manny is very special to the filipino people. whatever the media say is irrelevant because this fight is too close to call. and to add to that - some of them thought that pac won that fight too. everybody media outlet and fight fan had a different opinon on the outcome of the fight. if you read those writeups that favor jmm they're all 114-113. but again, as i've said they don't mean jack coz the fight could have gone the other way. what matter is how the judges saw the fight and pac got their nod. i believe it was the kd who made the difference imho.

I guess it's because Marquez was just waiting for an opening to counterpunch in those rounds. Pac was the one making it a fight. Because it's blurry as fuck, and you couldn't tell whether a punch was landed or blocked

I just hope there is a rematch soon cause style wise I think Marquez may have the tools to beat Manny. It might just be his lack of punching power that might do him in though like it did in this second fight. He hit Manny with some solid shots that would have floor anyone else in my opinion. If Marquez wants a win from Manny then it will have to be by KO cause as we saw in this last bout, points will not solidify him a win.
