Attention Hopkins Haters!!

i think Eubank was good dont get me wrong but there is a world of difference between being a good Champion to being an Elite fighter

Chris Eubank was an elite fighter in my book, and at 31, he wasn't exactly over the hill. Eubank Elite who did he beat He got outboxed by Dan Schommer & should have lost that fight ,he was'nt shot against Collins IMO and he was dominated ,if anybody was shot against Collins it was Nigel Benn Eubank does'nt meassure up well against any of the top fighters like McCallum ,Toney ,RJJ ,he would have got beaten by all of these

i dont like Hopkins but u have to respect what hes done IMO Calzaghe has'nt faced an undersized Elite fighter or an over the hill Elite fighter ,so lets keep it in perspective not to say Hopkins is better than Calzghe cause i dont think he is but u cannot Knock Hopkins cause u are a Zag fan & Hopkins record makes his look ordinary im more of a Zag fan than a B Hop fan i just think Hopkins deserves some respect for his acomplishments Chris Eubank was an elite fighter in my book, and at 31, he wasn't exactly over the hill.

Joe Calzaghe defeated a prime elite fighter his own size, Mikkel Kessler, and took his two world titles. Mikel Kessler has beaten Nobody yet ,Marcus Beyer is not Elite in my Book

Why do you hate him? You can't deny that he is one of the best middleweights ever. And as much as yall dislike it, at his age, he's still one of the best out at Light Heavy. And he does stand a chance against Calzaghe. i hate him because hes a racist prick i honestly don't see how anyone can like the man i mean if i was racist i would be hated so why should it be different for a boxer i mean there supposed to be role models .

Beating Winky was not impressive. Beating Tarver however was a big moment. You have to admit that even a second-tier 168 lber is a tougher fight than a 156 lb. Oscar De La Hoya. Sure, Hopkins is not the first to get famous beating on smaller men, but that doesn't change the fact that it has made him overrated. both were Impressive but in my opinion Winky is a way better fighter than Tarver has better names on his record aswell ,regardless which was more impressive they are both fantastic wins for a fighter who is 40 + well Hagler is'nt overated & he gets massive credit for beating Duran who was smaller guy than Oscar naturally :lol1: i dont hear u saying he was overated

"If you maintain the fairness of the rules and the equitability in the enforcement of those rules, then one fighter or the other is going to assert themselves and we're going to see a winner out of that fight. But when the rules are not enforced and some person gains an advantage by an unlawful means, then we're really not going to know the true answer to who was the better fighter that night and that's the whole purpose of us being in there. To save those fighters and to enforce those rules so that the natural tilt by skill, courage and boxing, asserts itself. Hopkins is a dirty fighter who always resorts to head butts, holding his opponents' arms, etc. He really isn't very good, just tricky. He's never defeated an elite fighter his own size, just smaller men like Trinidad and DLH. When he has fought an elite fighter his own size, he's lost (Jones, Taylor). He doesn't have a sportsmanlike attitude toward other fighters, respecting no one. He's done some bad stuff in the past like stealing old womens' purses and other criminal behavior, and did time in prison for it. He was 40 when he lost to JT...

I Think he has a good chance & think he is being overlooked way to easy ,its not that long ago that he beat Winky ,154 pounder or not that is a great win for a 40+ year old man ,and a very good reason why people should not overlook him it makes me laugh when people Claim he beat up on 147lbs fighters ,what do u think Marvin Hagler did to aquire his greatness ,yes he was a very good middleweight before he fought Hearns ,Leonard ,Duran but lets have it right they made him a Superstar in partiucalr Tommy Hearns

Somehow there always manages to be. For example Calzaghe was already rooting the seeds for an excuse before he fought Lacy. I remembered he was bitching about a broken hand and not being able to sleep well. We know that if Hopkins loses there wont be NO excuses. you better believe calzaghe wont be the one making excuses if he loses. hes not like that at all. although i do agree that if he loses there will be a lot of bitches out there who will be making excuses for him! it always happens lol. im still confident he wins a decision like by maybe 3 or 4 rounds.

If he beats Calzaghe fairly there will be no excuses.
