I predict it will be like the Miranda fight except it will be a bit more dangerous for Pavlik because Abraham's boxing is more polished and he can KO with short punches.
Abraham probably has the same amount of stamina as the weight drained Miranda did so he will run out of stamina early, go to the ropes and take a beating.
Abraham's other opponents let him rest on the ropes but Pavlik won't give him a moment, he goes for the KO for every minute of every round.

Look, this is Abraham in his second most recent fight. He backs right into the ropes in the very beginning, even into a corner, and his opponent wasnt even really putting on huge amounts of pressure. So I figure he would go into a corner against Pavlik as well.
We all know what happens when someone is inactive against the ropes against Pavlik...its not a good thing. Zertuche, Miranda, Taylor...they can tell you that. That was the best thing Taylor did in the rematch, he stuffed a strong jab into Pavlik's face and stayed far, far away from the ropes...the one time he fell close to them is the one time Pavlik really hurt him too.
so basically...Abraham isnt active enough to keep Pavlik off him, and he is just asking to be knocked out when he runs to the ropes.yup, very true! i don't see abraham being nearly as good as taylor was in the 2nd fight, and kelly walks him down to a tko in 8!

Arthur has a lot more power than Taylor. Pavlik hasn't been hit like he's going to get hit in this fight
Pavlik let taylor hit him with about 7 consecutive haymakers all flush and all within a minute. Abraham doesn't even have the stamina to throw 7 of his best haymakers. Good try though.

yeah, ok. pavlik fought miranda who bangs harder than any other mw we have as of now! please stop!!
Kelly Pavlik is hung. Far more hung than any other middleweight. His hungness guarantees him victory.
there is just TOO MUCH Homosexual in this post right here man... take it easy a bit dude :ugh:
Hell it was impressive how he beat Sturm...ah wait a minute they didn't fight
lmfao.................
anyway...
i give abraham a punchers chance, and he may be able to steal the fight with his wild flurries(which wont be as effective as taylor's but will be even more showy-flashy).........previously i didnt even give abraham more than a punchers chance, but as stupid as pavlik looked in his last fight.......
i would favor pavlik to outwork abraham and get a decision, tough...
I tend to agree that it would be competitive early, but Pavlik would more than likely finish him between rounds 7 & 10. Abraham has a couple impressive wins (Miranda & Sturm), but he's a very protected fighter, for the most part. For the record, I think Miranda would beat him if they laced em up again. Pavlik would wear him down, and eventually stop him, I believe.

I'm pretty sure Abraham would. The big questionmark would be his german promoter (Sauerland?).
Of course.. I'm sure sauerland doesn't care if Abraham gets credit or not for being a true champ. As long as Abraham has that belt he can keep having championship bouts and his cash cow is secure. His risk/reward is definitely in question without the safety of home field advantage and can opponent.
Betting Pavlik will be easy money in this fight.. People should probably be betting whether or not Abraham will really grab his balls and go through with this fight.
