JCC Jr. should fight someone his OWN size

I would really like to see someone that can physically compete with him so it is easier to guage Chavez's development and power. Him fighting midgets doesnt show us much. I understand he is trying to develop, but from a fan's point of view... As long as he makes weight he can fight whoever. Same goes for Paul Williams, Ronald Hearns and other tall fighters.

with more than 30 wins in his resume he should be fighting top level opponents right now, dont tell me that he's just padding his record just like his father did No way is this kid ready for top level opposition. I don't care how many wins he has, he is too young and inexperienced. He struggled plenty against his last opponent.

These fights are baby steps for him, making up for his amateur experience but I am getting slightly impatient.

I know he's learning on the fly since he didn't have any amatuer experience, but fighting a guy on a PPV card that got KO'ed by Michael Trabant isn't exactly stepping even a little in class.

Arum is doing with Jr. what he did with Cotto and Pavlik, taking them on the slow road to the top. nah i mean, padded records aint shit right now.. im saying that he should fight top level opponents by now or maybe 2 or 3 more fights

This certainly makes sense, but I'd rather see Chavez fight bums his own size than solid fighters that cant win just because of their size. JCC paid his dues early with 2 fights against Roger Mayweather, something these clowns dont seem to realize.

It's kind of like 30 amateur/pro fights for him. It is just a learning experience. He might hit 40 before he actually fights someone his own size. not actually his own size but a top level guy, btw what weight is he fighting at?
