How did you score Taylor-Pavlik 2?

After the fight Kessler (who was present) stated that he was surprised with the outcome. He thought Taylor was clearly the better fighter and deserved the win. In my opinion Taylor was the better fighter and Pavliks workrate was the only thing making this fight a close call. Its Pavliks workrate (lots of connecting jabs) vs. less workrate but much better and cleaner shots from Taylor. This could have gone both ways I think.

For those of you who have the balls to post your scorecard(or just comment on mine) post ur round by round. Here is my scorecard after just watching the fight. Round 1- Pavlik Round 2- Taylor Round 3- Taylor Round 4- Pavlik Round 5- Pavlik Round 6- Taylor Round 7- Pavlik Round 8- Taylor Round 9- Pavlik Round 10- Taylor Round 11- Pavlik Round 12- Pavlik 7 rounds to 5 for Kelly Pavlik. Lot of close rounds though. Close entertaining fight. Pretty damn good card. 6, 7, or 8 (which I gave to Pavlik) were so close they could have gone either way. Other than that I have the identical card.

Well, we all know who won, either a lot of a little. Pavlik won and I'm a Taylor fan..who do ya'll think will be Taylor's next fight? Pavlik doesn't do it for me...I'm not down with the great white hype or the working man Born in the USA style...still a great f'en fighter though.

i dont see how anyone could have taylor winning- you have to be one racist son of a bitch, huge taylor nuthugger, or just dont no shit about boxing if you have him winning this fight- their were at least 4-5 rounds were taylor landed no more than 5-8 punches- you dont win a fight by throwing 1-3 flurries hoping to god they land....towards the last 2 rounds, you could see that taylor was hurt from the body shots and just didnt want to be there- he tried his best and wasnt good enuff....on the other hand pavlik was dominating ENTIRE rounds and landing the jab at will and making the fight!!! i honestly think in the back of my mind, taylor came into this fight trying to prove he could not get knocked out and go the distance

It was a close fight but Pavlik won without a doubt 115-113. No robbery here.

I scored the fight 116-112 for Pavlik...he was more consistent and determined, he completely outworked Taylor...Pavlik CLEARLY won the fight. Anybody who says Taylor was robbed is a RETARD A retard? Check how desperate Loew was throughout the fight, especially before round 10, whispering to Pavlik he had to work and that the fight was close. Loew's comments never made sense, he was getting Pavlik up when Taylor was clearly winning rounds (even people seeing Pavlik winning, saw those rounds for Taylor) and getting worried around round 9. Everytime I doubted I scored the rounds for Pavlik, I had it 115-113 Taylor based solely on cleaner, more effective shots. I don't care if Pavlik threw 100,000 punches throughout the fight, he was landing on the gloves of Taylor, or his punches hit Taylor slipping off the gloves (not cleanly). Aside from that Taylor had a much better defense and was controlling the fight. I was rooting for Pavlik during the first fight btw.

i scored it 115-113 for taylor. i had pavlik 3 points ahead after round 9. i gave rounds 10 & 11 to taylor. i thought he landed more combinations and right hand counters. although pavlik had taylor hurt in the last 15 seconds of round 11 it wasn't enought to give it to him cause taylor landed more combinations and right hands. the last round i gave it to pavlik.

Taylor won this fight I had Taylor winning 115-113....No way Pavlik WON round 10!!! That was the clearest Taylor round of the fight. Throwing a lot of punches doesn't mean you are winning...see Williams/Quintana for details!!! This wasn't a robbery but it was petty theft!!!

116-112 pavlik. most of taylors punches landed behind kelly's ear and taylor was still using his elbows

Close entertaining fight. i have just scored the fight again and i had it the same as u excpet for 1 round which i could'nt make my mind up on ,i ended up giving it to Pavlik instead of Taylor it was round 6

ok ok, a little overboard. He's a bit old i guess. To me Merchant seems to really favor blood and guts type fighters and not like boxer/defensive type fighters. From what I have seen, pluse hes insane.
