I'm assuming because of the catchweight above 160, that he's not going to stay. Jermain Taylor is the one that wanted the catchweight, he's the one that said his days of fighting 160 are over, he just can't effectively make that weight anymore. It looked like the extra pounds helped him as well. Pavlik has no problem making 160 and probably will stay there for some time.

I don't think this fight will ever happen. I think by the time pavlik is done with the middleweights, joe will be retired. Assumming of course that joe is only fighting 4-5 more fights max. I'd be very surprised if Joe has more than two more fights.

I say John Duddy as well. Pavlik deserves one easy fight and then later in the year take on Abraham to get that third belt.

I said Duddy, while Abraham is on the undercard fighting Giovanni Lorenzo. That can set up a big fight for them in the fall and a tune up to make Pavlik look better then he did last night.
