After a TREMENDOUS year in 07, 08 isnt looking too good for the sport. The only fights on the horizen that interest me are, Pac/Marquez II, Taylor/Pavlik II, and just recently i heard that there is going to be a 3rd fight between Marquez and Vasquez. That's it! The fighters that are suppose to be making the big moves, and fighting the top guys arent! Cotto/Gomez??.....A tuneup for Oscar in May???..... Oscar/Floyd II in Sept??? Really, who wants to see this? Sad to say, but i think 07 was just a tease for us diehard fans. 08 isnt looking too promising.
There's about a 13 week stretch of fights every week from late January to May. Good fights. This isnt even counting the fall where you have the fights in the 147 and 168 pound divisions playing out.
Jones/Trinidad
Williams/Quintana
Castillo/Montiel
Pavlik/Taylor II
Klitschko/Ibragimov
Vazquez/Marquez III
Diaz/Campbell
Haye/Maccarinelli
Pacquiao/Marquez II
Katsidis/Casamayor
Hopkins/Witter
Dawson/Johnson
Andrade/Bika
John/Caballero
Hopkins/Calzaghe
Margarito/Judah
De La Hoya Fighting Twice (Most likely, once for free)
And that's all before the midway point of the year.
What are you talking about?
Cant Argue with That...
Every one of those fights are going to suck, you fuckin idiot.
Really? I thought Jones/Trinidad was entertaining enough.
Williams/Quintana Should be decent.
Castillo/Montiel
Pavlik/Taylor II The first one was one hell of a fight.
Klitschko/Ibragimov Should be good.
Vazquez/Marquez III Has absolutely ZERO chance of sucking.
Diaz/Campbell Juan Diaz fights are not boring.
Haye/Maccarinelli This fight will rock....... while it lasts.
Pacquiao/Marquez II How on earth will this fight suck?
Katsidis/Casamayor Katsidis will make it enteresting.
Hopkins/Witter
Dawson/Johnson Dawson fights are usually pretty good.
Andrade/Bika Should be decent.
John/Caballero
Hopkins/Calzaghe Okay this one might be a little boring.
Margarito/Judah Styles make fights, and this one promises to be good.
He's going to. Arum is saving this shit....he's actually putting on some decent cards and matching up his fighters well.. GBP is actually ruining this sport..the cunt.
Yeah De La Hoya is a fuckin piece of shit, he acts like he cares so much about boxing and shows that good guy image, but his actions show that he's just in it for the cream. Oscar is scum, Fuck Oscar and GBP...
Pavlik's going to save the sport. Dont worry bout it.
Pavlik I definately like...
I remember when I first saw him fight, which was a live fight. He looked so fuckin terrible, I never expected him to be anything, but then he fuckin knocked out Miranda AND Taylor.... I definately underestimated the guy...

Just the fact that you had to mention John Ruiz shows how fucked boxing is today.
It also shows what kind of a person(a moron).
What the fuck are you guys talking about?
Lol.. I typo'd a word. I left out an E. He called me on it, and was SO proud of himself. I didn't want to hurt his self-esteem so I fed into it. LMAO.
Yeah, you proved me wrong. You sure "OWNED" me. Here, why don't you put the OWNED smiley in your next post, to show people how you OWNED me.... Go ahead.
What the fuck are you guys talking about?
Sir, you spelled it wrong! You can make all the typo excuses until tomorrow, nothing will change.
Have a nice day :)

Fine, that's whats scheduled, but it doesnt mean that they are good!
Then show a list of fights from last year, that compares favorably. A FULL list. Don't just give off the big fights at the end. Give a full list of the ENTIRE 2007 cal. year, that compares to this list.
Keep in mind, boxing has three "seasons" in the sense that it's from January-March, April-August, September-December.. Most of these fights happen in JUST the first season, and you're comparing it to the WHOLE 2007. And I STILL think it looks better, to be quite honest. OVERALL, not just this fight or that fight, OVERALL.. it looks better.
Well, my English is very bad. I speak 4 languages and I corrected 2 yanks today. :owned:
BTW that was no typo, sir.
You know four languages. That's great. How is leaving an e out of a word, BY ACCIDENT, not a typo? Please explain that. Explain it in any language you want.
Don't worry, I'll wait.....................
