He pumps me up, i love this guy at a boxing event. But for the hispanic fighters and as a hispanic he needs to work on pronunciation of hispanic fighters.
He pronounces Barrera name like this. Barrrrrrrrrerrrrrrra. When only the 1st two rs should be rolled. he feels each r needs to be rolled. Erik El Terrible Morrrrrrrrales.
Jimmy Lennon Jr pronounces each name correctly and does it great.
I would guess anywhere from 10K+ depending on the event. He does some fairly small events too such as Clottey-Alvarez from last week and the pay for that is obviously going to be different than that of Mayweather-Hatton.
yeah there were rumers that he got a mill every time. imagin if that was the case. work once every 3 years
That wouldnt make sense though because how could he be paid more than the actual fighters? As a promoter, I wouldnt do that. Id do that shit myself.

Lennon once stated that some fighters are only in the spotlight once, so he made it a point to say their names correctly.
How much would you be willing to shell out for him to announce at your event? I think he gets paid somewhere around 15-25k per event.

The real question is how much he get's paid.

And is it just me or has lung capacity taken a hit as old age begins to set in. When he says his catchphrase the word rumble doesn't seem to have that same energy, pronounciation and volume combination it used to.
Hmmmm......I think i've been paying more attention to this guy than is really healthy.
