Manfredo vs. Lacy: Who deserved the decision?

As ugly as it was Lacy clearly won....he scored a KD and pressed the action the entire night.......God I hope he was just rusty and gets his shit together....... same here. His shoulder is absolutely beyond repair too I believe. His left hook sucked. i think he needed more time. he didnt look good physically either. What an awful awful fight. Lacy was slow, predictable and where was that famous LEFT HOOK? and the power?...Lacy had no snap in his punches. He still won the fight though IMO, but Lacy should be thankful that he was up against Manfredo who looked scared of him and didn't do that much. I think the main reason why Lacy looked the way he did is because of that injury that almost had him retired from boxing after the Vitali Tsypko fight last year. He has a lot to work on if he wants to get back to the top again. agree.

I think if I bothered to score that I'd have given it to Manfredo, did Lacy even hit him apart from the knockdown?

in a battle of losers, you at least expect them to slug it out. from what I saw of it (very little), it looked like Manfredo thought he could outbox Lacy, which was not only a stupid notion (not that Lacy is hard to box or anything but Manfredo isn't exactly a good boxer) but a dumb move considering nobody is going to want to watch either of them fight now

Shitty fight but I gave it to Lacy by a wide margin against the woeful Manfredo. But then I watched it at 4am and absolutely despise Manfredo. My judgement might be clouded.

i honestly still cant see how people think Lacy won clearly, even i, a big fan of his, could see manfredo landing pitter patter all night, but Lacy wasnt landing ANYTHING......

Manfredo had his moments but Lacy won the fight. The standard was far from world class though.

I had it even, with Lacy taking it because of the knockdown, but it could have gone either way. Crappy performance by both fighters and Manfredo could have easily won it if he had shown any heart. Much too big of a ring, though.

i mean honestly i was fucking wondering what tthe fuck was up with peter, he couldva taken that fight easy, but the guy allowed people to question the way he fought, therefore people stopped watching that he was outboxing and outlanding lacy both inside and out.....

I was hoping for a Lacy KO and im a supposrter of his, but as bad and pussy as Manfedo fought, Lacy fought even worse he only won rounds 4 and 8 clearly i could give Manfredo up to 8 rounds: 1,2,3,5,6,7,9 and 10....while i could only consider giving Lacy 4,5,6,7 and 10.....so IMO you had to give Lacy every close round to have him winning by a point....

Yeah I knew the KD would help Lacy pull it out. He still has power put he could not put his punches together for shit. To his credit though he's almost had about 2 years of down time. But I'ma have to rewatch it. I was just so pissed how bad it was. So this time I'll be paying more attention.

Lacy remind me of David Tua in a way. Ever since Calzaghe found out the blueprint of beating Lacy, everyone uses it and is somewhat succesful. Same shit after the Lewis fight, Tua used to get KO's all the time and after that fight his opponents just popped that jabbed and learned how to box him

Manfredo was winning by blowout until he got knocked down, and then he shelled up, and stopped trying to win rounds. Lacy took it.

Lacy Saying that, the fight was horrible, Lacy looked like shiat. I cant remember a world class fighter being that slow.

both should have been thrown out of the ring, it was shocking, Kessler will cripple them both, even Froch would do them
