PBF, Respected more by British Commentators than American HBO

I really wish they brought back Foreman, he was funny and was much more impartial than Merchant, Steward or Lampley. Hell, someone just pointed out and I just noticed that Merchant never looks PBF square in the face when he interviews him but he looks almost everyone else in the face. I've noticed also Merchant never looks at Floyd in the eyes and only ever asks him why he isn't fighting some other fighter. There is never anything complimentary in any of his PBF post fight interviews. If he can't put his bias aside they should get someone else to do the interviews.

I was listening to the live radio stream on thesun.co.uk and they made it sound like Mayweather was destroying Hatton throughout the entire fight. Spot on. I listened to BBC Radio 5 live coverage and the impression I got was that Floyd was winning hands down. Having watched it on video twice now, this is not the case.

I was actually excited about that crowd since the Vegas crowds are usually high rollers with comp tickets and little true boxing zeal. I love a loud crowds and been a part of many here in the Tri-state area. What turned me off was there booing of the Star Spangled Banner. After that I was like I hope PBF's KO's Hatton to STTFU.

Watched it the first time and couldnt hear much with all the people over when mayweather really began teeing off on hatton, i couldnt hear anything, when hatton got combo'ed like it was gatti all over again, my house lost, it, and when hatton hit the canvas, like 3 houses in my local area went nuts, i think i know who the city of oakland was standing with when it comes to this fight. i couldnt beileve it when my mom heard the hatton anthem for the 3rd time during the lacy fight, my mom is very courteous and polite and pretty reserved person she said "mayweather needs to knock his ass out and shut these people the fuck up, theyre fucking up my buzz" i was shocked at that more than anything because she would end up being right, yes he was knocked out, but no, they still didint stfu

i dont know if you were watching the fight with other people, but everyone in my house couldnt understand how hatton was winning the fight when mayweather was landing the cleaner harder shots, and when i downloaded the skysports commentary i was shocked, not only was it more accurate, but the scoring was much better. Watched it the first time and couldnt hear much with all the people over but was puzzled when looking at the periodic graphic of Ledderman's score card. But rewatched it and thought it was so biased that it was almost comical. I saw the Sky Broadcast and was shocked at how much better, from an energetic entertainment perspective and from there BETTER impartiality (always gonna lean towards the hometown boy). But it was much more balanced. Every other sports writer and commentator had it almost the opposite of HBO. The only call HBO got right was "Cortez calls a stop".

Well, you don't like Toney so I really don't care what you say son, I will take Toney over Steward any day of the week. what shit James Toney is going to blurl about he even doesnt speak clearly and talks pretty fast for most people to understand him. hate him or love him Steward is better at commetating even though he hate or disagress in many thing but some of his tips presentation of himself is pretty good. It not all about being funny but more about informing the fans what happening and why it happening even though James Toney has alot of knowledge I dont think he could excute the job well. Teddy Atlas is a good choice

I noticed that too. It seemed like HBO was pandering to the UK audience and the same for SKYSports. Both networks were going out of there way to compliment the opposing fighter. Lampley and Kellerman are fair and call it like most do. Steward, Merchant and Lederman are biased fucks towards him. Yeah, I didn't say Kellerman who is fair (although he was a overly agressive in his post fight interview with Hatton after his fight with Castillo). Kellerman was the only one of them who gave an accurate post fight assesment after the PBF-DLH fight and he totally contradicted the others, ala Foreman, which might be why they weren't doing this PPV.

If you look at ESPN or Sports Illustrated or any other sports reporting site all of them gave PBF respect and had MM winning comfortably, universally somwhere between 6rds-8rds for Mayweather and 2-3rds for Hatton.
