would cotto give floyd more trouble than castillo did the first time they fought? cotto can cut the ring off good and can work the body just as good if not better than anyone in the sport
I think Cotto would be the best style match-up to beat Mayweather, but It might just be another Chavez fight, with Floyd using his defense and throwing uppercuts til Cotto's either out on his feet or the fight is stopped, Chavez showed an incredible chin in that fight and Cotto does have the tendency of getting rocked. Then again Mayweather could brake a hand and be in for the beating of his life, you never know. It would be a great fight nonetheless.
who do i nuthug? besides myself im the all time greatest
To be honest, you seem like an anti-boxing fan. You hate everybody. I don't even know why you watch any fights.
I said the SAME EXACT THING.
Cotto would be Floyd's toughest fight and the one that, if he won, would leave any doubt about how high he would be on the all time great list.
Lol...
Jim gets a little excited sometimes, but you can't hate- dude adds alot of drama to some situations.
And Floyd would be in the top 10 all time if he beats Cotto, IMO.
I think floyd would have the most trouble with Pwil and cintron, 1. because of their size, 2. because of Pwils workrate, and 3. because it's been shown that floyd does not like taking big punches and cintron has a big punch, even when it's just a jab. I think floyd would also have trouble with cotto. his style is one that floyd has looked good against, but cotto showed in the mosley fight that he is a lot quicker than a lot of other stalkers, something that could trouble floyd. i think floyd will stick with fighting guys that come up in weight or are past their prime. i just dont see him risking his "legacy" by fighting these guys, though i think he hurts his legacy by not fighting them. i have said it before, but it still holds true... how can you call yourself and atg when you have never been in an all time great fight? i cant think of one mayweather fight that i would watch a second time...
You haven't seen very many Mayweather fights. I mean he isn't "Mr. Excitement" but people act like he is the most boring fighter of all time. I do concur though he needs a career defining fight.

So beating Cotto would make Floyd better than Sugar Ray Robinson?:ugh:
You know what happens when you assume right? I said how high I didn't say the highest spot.
I said the SAME EXACT THING.

I remember that Baldo punch in you sig...
"And a left hook RUINS Arturo Gatti!!! Absolutely RUINS HIM!!!"
I was like, 'Damn Jim. Calm down.'

Yeah, it was dramatic, but he got carried away. Not that it matters, but I think the exact wording was "And a Gatti is RUINED by a Baldomir left hook! Absolutely RUINED!". Fuckin Jim... we should just be happy that they dont have Ledderman as lead commentator. Can you imagine how fucking carried away he'd get? The dude is always too excited as it is. "FHAHSDASDYSDH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PRAISE ALLAH!"
If he has constant speed that he showed at the begining of the Mosley fight, then yes.
If not no. I mean Cotto could possibly beat Mayweather if he showed his impressive speed in the begining of the Mosley fight, but all night. Though if he doesn't, I say no. In each fight Cotto seams to have weaknesses to a certain punch. In Judah, it was the uppercut and in Mosley it was the overhand right. I think Floyd could keep landing those overhand rights all night and keep Cotto at bay. That and whenever it seems Mosley would land an uppercut, it would work too.
So yeah, I think Mayweather takes it. Though it probably is his worst threat.
Cotto is Floyd's worst nightmare. I did not say he would beat Floyd, but he is is worst nightmare.

Cotto,Williams and Hatton all have good chances at beating Floyd. When Floyd's career is all said and done, he will have lost to at least 1 of those fighters, GURANTEED.
Cotto is Floyd's worst nightmare. I did not say he would beat Floyd, but he is is worst nightmare.
Cotto and Williams would give him the most trouble, followed by Margarito and Cintron, IMO.
