How Stupid Is Taylor

I believe Taylor's peak was beating Hopkin's. It will never get better than that. He will never be a truly elite pound for pound fighter. Too many flaws in his offense and defense. His focus may be his real true problem. If having Manny Steward in your face screaming and begging you to step up the pressure against a fighter(Spinks) who has almost NO power can't get you fired up or focused than you are truly flawed.

If anything, Taylor showed improvement in this fight compared to his fight with Winky...he fought himself off of the ropes instead of staying there...plus he used his jab and movement... he is a very flawed fighter, but more than makes up for it in his desire to improve and desire to fight

I was gonna make this thread but for a different reason. Taylor is a fucking idiot, he coulda easily had Pavlik out in the 2nd if he pushed him abit. Pavlik was nearly out on his feet and Taylor was the one initiating the clinches, what the fuck is that??? Then in the 3rd Taylor did nothing and by the end of the round Pavlik had his head clear. Dumb fucker only has himself to blame...

I think Taylor needs to switch trainers. At a certain point if the boxer isn't following your commands you've got to train to his inclinations.

maybe it was steward who didn't train taylor to taylors best abilities. no doubt steward is a great trainer, but maybe he didn't train taylor right. if taylor likes fighting off the ropes, then teach him to be the beat fighter to ever fight on the ropes don't take away from him what comes natural to him and try to change his style. I mention the ropes cause taylor loves going on the ropes but i don't know if he got ko'd on the ropes.

As long as he is with Steward forget about it he is on a downfall if you cant see it then your blind he will not be the same
