I would have to say Shaq. In his prime he was pretty quick and strong as an OX, valuev would face shaq and people would call it "the 600 pound brawl" or something as lame as that. Which athlete would make be the best boxer.
Everybody's thinking too big, I like the smaller, athletic guys like A.I. But I propose someone alittle bit bigger who's just as tough and athletic, Manu Ginobili. He seems like the Eric Morales type fighter. If you hit him, you better keep hitting him. He's got the stamina to fight, and not just in spurts like the football players. C'mon guys, you know it's not all about size and strength and who's more mean looking. Baldomir could even waive the flag around for him as a side job.
The fluidity, hand-eye coordination, and balance of a Roger Federer would make him a great boxer.
Look past personality stereotypes and the fact that he wears a headband. There are a lot of great boxers who if you met them on the street you wouldn't necessarily suspect they were boxers. Federer definately has the abilites to be a great lower weight division boxer.
A more obvious example that comes to mind would be Troy Polamalu because of the explosiveness.
kobe cant fight for shit
n wallace is a slob
LMAO Kobe got his ass handed to him by Doug Christie if i'm not mistaked. Kobe will get the brakes beat off of him if he was to box.
Shaq fast? :pat:
Shaq has aways been slow on the court, never mind the ring
What games have you been watching? There are plenty of 7 footers out there in the world but it's his quickness for his size that made Shaq the dominant player he was. Obviously I'm not saying Shaq would be a good boxer, but to say that he's always been slow on the court is pretty ridiculous.

Shaq has aways been slow on the court, never mind the ring and always had problems with his stamina.
Sportsman train for years to be boxers.. how do you take a random athlete and say he'd be a good boxer? :wtf:
Also "the 600 pound brawl"? WTF? I think they'd come up with something a lot more original, like The Clash of the Titans, or Ramble of the giants, or some other shit
wrong wrong wrong shaq was quick and explosive when he first got into the league
For you limeys - football wise...
Heskey, Rooney and John terry are hard as fuck.
Crouch has great reach.
Owen apparently was a good Am in his youth.
Rooney apparently was a promising boxer as a youngster, and I think his brother may be pro now.
Also Wazza has sparred with Hatton befoe (all for fun of course).
Koki Kameda, Takefumi Sakata, Hozumi Hasegawa. They're all kings of their divisions. Dumb ignorant fuck. Koki is the WBO Light Flyweight champ.
have you seen koki kameda fight??
there's no way he should be champ
he sucks
watch his last fight
you can obviously tell his fights are fixed
he got destroyed the entire fight and they gave him the victory
politics in boxing is a very dirty business
Yeah I'd say Ray Lewis.
I don't know how his hand to hand is but if he was trained he'd be pretty formidable in my view.

I was thinking Iverson for Welter. Not 160.
AI can make 147. The man is in excellent condition. Sure, some injuries here and there, but please. That would not disqualify him IMO.
i agree with that..emanuel said tiger woods .. i agree with that as well
