Juan diaz's power

Also, on subject of punching power, earlier in his career Juan wasnt turning over on his punches very well, was slapping guys, all the way thru the Lorcey fight. When he fought Irwin he started to correct this and ever since he's been pummelling guys and making them go backwards with each punch. Thats good news as if your correct it means he's gona be ko ing people alot more instead of roughing them up and winning by great margins.

When i first seen Diaz on espn in one of his early fight less then 10. I thought within time he will wear out fights with his multiple punchs. But damn, i didn't think he would be as dominate as he has been. Its great to seee a fighter surpass all expectations. I hope he goes even further, he is all class. WIth that said, he is going to have a tough fight with Julio Diaz. Diaz don't mind going toe to toe, he's sparring plenty of times with his brother Antonio Diaz was a good fighter himself. Diaz v. Diaz is going to be a great fight.

He's just not naturally gifted with power.This is an good example at how you can have all the technique and stamina in the world.Yet you still dont hit hard,just sounds like you do. Yet a Mayorga if he hits you with one of those wild shots,could ko you. This is one guy that I wish had power. yeah i know how you feel with wishing he had power. If he did have superb power then in my eyes he would be far more exiting to watch than pac man or cotto, As it is with his tame power he's still extremly exiting to watch. This boys quickly becoming one of my favourite fighters in the world.

I think he has plenty of power, he just doesnt really catch people flush when he puts that much power behind his shots. I think hes improving his technique in that respect though, it certainly worked against Freitas. It certainly did,and Freitas isnt no pillow puncher neither.

yeah i noticed that, he hits with what looks like real fast hard hooks but they hardly have no effect on his opponents. I wonder if his power will increase as he gets older and wiser with his shots because he's only 22 somthing so is real young for a world champ. Yeah maybe but he will have more TKO's for sure. He just chops you down like a tree. He kicked Cotto's brother ass.

His shots hurt you over time. It's really amazing how accurate he is on a consistent basis. he hammers his opponents but for some reason his shots aren't as powerful as they look. yeah i noticed that, he hits with what looks like real fast hard hooks but they hardly have no effect on his opponents. Diaz put's his entire body into his punches, it really baffles me how he doesn't have no power and fights the way he does. He looks like he is hitting that pretty hard because he is putting his body into it, he can't hit to knock you out cold but he does hit to where you feel the shots.
