The club fight between Mayweather and Judah as a set up for a possible rematch in the ring???
Since Judah has no notable wins in a long time, there would really be no reason for them to meet again professionally unless they figure using their real life beef to get back in the ring and make more money in the process.
No. The pound for pound best of the world does NOT follow up the biggest fight of his life and of current boxing memory, and leave self imposed 'retirement' just to rematch a fighter he already beat. The fight was not that close, either. After Floyd weathered the storm of the first few rounds he dominated. No reason whatsoever for the best in the sport, fighting in a division with so many good fighters, to fight someone he already beat and who has just lost again in his last fight.
I have been saying for three years now that Zab needed a new trainer. Yoel is a joke. I watched Zab train before. No real technique. Nothing. I think Zab needs a new trainer stat or he can hang them up. Fighting journeys on ESPN is not the way to do it.
I totally agree. I honestly think he needs some psychiatric assistance because ALL fighters will get hit. Not one can avoid it and I have seen Zab get hit and retreat. He's kind of a waste.
Winning a street fight will not put you in the hall.
i'on kno how many times it must be said. boxing is a buisness and business is about making money. it aint far fetched to believe this could happen, although it probly aint. i understand the question and yea it's possible and it would be a better fight than the first proly. i wouldnt mind them *****s fightin again myself. i enjoyed the fight and if zab grow the fuk up and make some changes, he could beat floyd ass. i am certain. he got equal speed, more power just less mental power and stamina
if that ***** gett that together he'll be straight and probly one of the few who could actually beat that ***** floyd mayweather
No, it's not enough. Zab is in desperate need of a break out performance against another top fighter to get the MEGA fight PPV interest of HBO and Floyd. Until he deals with fading early, his workrate, crumbling in the ring under pressure, and the apprehension of returning fire hard and consistently once being hit with some hard shit, boxing fans and clued in casual fans won't believe he has a chance to win.. and that will effect buys.
The only guy available for Zab to fight to get the kind of $ interest back to scrap with Floyd is Margarito. All Judah's sins might get washed if he could pull that one off, since he'd have to overcome all of his flaws and then some to win.. only then do I think the embarrassing of Mayweather becomes a talking point for a rematch.
Excellent point.

Please, don't be disrespectful. It's a hypothetical question and if you don't think so then answer no.
O, don't get:banghead:. Here drinks on me :beerchug:
Sure, Mayweather versus top contenders would defnitely be where the money is but I know many who'd love to see Zab and Floyd fight again.
That should be your answer. Why would Mayweather stage a fake fight in a club with Judah to fight him again, doesnt make much sense does it. End of thread
My post stated that there would be no reason. Please do not disregard that. Thanks.

However, I beg to differ. Sure, Mayweather versus top contenders would defnitely be where the money is but I know many who'd love to see Zab and Floyd fight again. Hypothetical question so it can be addressed as such.

Thats stretching it a little. Judah has lost 3 of his last 4 fights. A rematch would be pointless for Floyd in a division full of talent and well known names. No way can they sell a fight like this to generate more money than Floyd vs. Cotto, Hatton, Mosley
Oh trust me, I know the difference. I come from a long line of street fighters, amateurs and professionals. Just wondering what some opinions of their rematch would be. I don't see a difference in the outcome either unless Judah's mental game and stamina advanced DRAMATICALLY. Mayweather just seems a step a head in the ring. Simply.

I wo0uldn't mind see Mayweather fight. I love watching the guy fight. But please keep in mind
1. Zab Judah will lose again
2. Floyd wont gain anything from this fight
3. people like Paul SMM Cotto Hatton deserve the chance.
Also keep in mind. Zab may have won the fight at the club but fights like that never last. Its quickly stoped. If Zab and Mayweather fight like kimbo and his people do I see Zab geting a bloody face. Then getting KTFO. Anyways w/e Zab did his thing. Mayweather talked shit and got what he deserved. I give Zab Props
