I don't get why people are obsessed with crying over their rankings. They are computer generated by a preset statistics formula.

An outrageous list that even includes a heavyweight. Why don't folks understand that heavies are omitted from P4P because they are already at the top of the food chain in size?

Hatton over Cotto? wow, Bozo the clown must be running that site, and floyd should be first Hatton is over Cotto in the Ring's list as well. It's not particularly outrageous. Boxrec's rankings are OK for what they are, an experimental points system using their records.

the p4p is stupid, but what an amazing site. ive learnt a lot thanks to boxrec True, I dont know about their P4P, But their other stuff like record showing and what not is great. I dont know if there is another site as good as boxrec as record showing........

It's a fact checking site, for me. What round did Lennox do away with Briggs in? Oh yeah, I'll just check boxingrec- which is usually accurate with that sort of information. What's the current record of Andre Berto? Alright, now I remember. Wasn't sure 18-0 or 19-0. That type of thing. The pound for pound rankings have long been ridiculed- but that's not the point of the site. Most people who know about it are smart enough to ignore the bad and focus on the good. Their P4P rankings are garbage...but for fact checking it's a godsend.
