Heres what I've learned:
Teddy beats up people at will, not matter how big they are or how many of them there are
He dated tons of girls, and had girls fighting over him at the gym, but he tried to be a nice guy and let the one he didnt want off easy
He trained numerous fighters (Tyson, LaLonde) and made them stars and they ditched him right before he was about to get paid
He taught a paraplegic kid to walk
He got Sammy the Bull Gravano to flip to the FBI
Teddy Atlas invented eletricity, fused the atom to create the nuclear bomb, and negotiated peace between the Muslims and Isaraelis.
Wow, this guy is Chuck Norris, Mother Teresa, and Gandhi all rolled into one.
Ha, Yeah this guy has lived a pretty crazy life, I wonder how much is embellished though. Definately recommended tho, highly entertaining.
from what teddy said in his book, he was a weak minded individual who was a scared boy inside, that is why he did what he did for a living because he was acting out on his fears...............any who, it was a mis quote that you wrote, unless it is sarcasm and if so i'm still setting the record straight.
I do think Teddy is WAY too critical of people and what he preceives to be a lack of something...who is he to say who is weak, lacks character etc? Teddy is not trained in any medial field, psychology field etc....the guy is OK with me BUT..... all this stuff about this guy was afraid of this and that guy is lacking character because when he was aboy he didnt have a father figure etc etc etc..... Teddy doesnt ever seem to point that high powered microscope on to himself and maybe sometimes he should.
but at preview of couple of FNF fight on keys on each fighter to win he give som good tips and idea so i alway going to see what he says.
seen Eastman-Miranda, Cintron-Estrada, Rabah-Urango and Burton-Augustus
all tips and view on how the fight should be won from each fighter was clear.

Funny shit. :beerchug:
Self promotion is the key to success..
he didn't get gravano to flip, if you read it again, it says that he flipped on his own without anyone knowing and it was a disgrace to anyone in their neighborhood. one thing you don't do is RAT............sammy was a rat, and from what teddy said in his book, he was a weak minded individual who was a scared boy inside, that is why he did what he did for a living because he was acting out on his fears...............any who, it was a mis quote that you wrote, unless it is sarcasm and if so i'm still setting the record straight.
Teddy!?!?!?!?!

I've not read the book. But, as for himself, all I've ever thought of him is that he overstates the obvious far too much during the broadcast. Making me annoyed with him, on a regular basis.

Did you also learn that he's an overrated trainer, an annoying commentator, and a hypocrite who speaks of the evils of mismatches on the air, but puts his own fighters in with opponents who are completely overmatched?
I thought the same thing when I read the book. Man does he make himself out to be a great streetfighter. He always says, I cracked this guy, I cracked that guy. He beats up 3 guys at once at a gas station. He takes out everybody in a bar fight. The only time I remember him losing a fight is when he got his face sliced.
I have to admit though, I found the book really entertaining even if it was farfetched in some parts. The story where him and Briggs got in a bar fight was a good read.

No, I did that lol.
I can't stand the guy at all. I don't respect his opinions either as his logic for many of his predictions is the same idiotic stuff I see on here all the time. Oh, Oscar's too big, he'll beat Floyd. Give me a break, man. How do you miss the prediction on the biggest moneymaking fight in boxing history? Seriously, the more I think about that, the more I simply don't respect people that picked Oscar. That's just pathetic.
