Am I the only one that saw Hatton's victory as not so great

Now displaying excellent hit and move tactics, sure that is going to definitely win a fight. Hatton did the job he needed to do but it shows nothing about the skills to beat Mayweather. EVERYONE apparently watched the first fight against Castillo.. But did anyone bother to watch the second one? This is when Floyd learned how to deal with a fighter like Castillo... Castillo is a Hatton clone so just expect a boring Mayweather vs Castillo III because this is just what Floyd does. If Hatton wants to fight someone, he should fight Cotto... That would be the fight to watch.

For the last few days people are talking about how great Hatton did against Castillo. I mean what was so great about it. He beat a shot, needs to retire boxer with just a body shot. I mean I'm glad he won but people are seriously overrating this victory. And why are people giving Hatton a chance against Mayweather just because he knocked Castillo out (with a body shot) and Floyd didn't. People need to understand that Floyd fought a younger, hungry, prime Castillo. The fight was freaking five years ago when both fighters were at their peaks. Castillo is no where near the same fighter that he was when he fought Mayweather and Corrales. I don't know maybe I'm just not seeing something that everybody else is. I wasn't overly impressed by it. I don't feel like that was his defining win or anything. It was a good performance against a guy who looked like a shell of his former self. The body shot was sick though.

Exactly. Castillo was definitely shot and I would've been on Hatton's fans asses if Castillo went the distance but Hatton won the way he was suppose to do.........he Won decisively. MANY including myself gave PBF huge props for defeating a shot Gatti. A Gatti who even at his prime was not an Elite fighter. It wasn't that PBF beat Gatti that garnered him respect it was that he dominated and won decisively. The same damn thing for Hatton-Castillo. You can't hold the PBF-Gatti fight as a masterpiece and a Great fight while simolutaneously denouncing Hatton for his win. Hatton-Castillo is the same thing as PBF-Gatti. Hatton was impressive because he put Castillo down, something that no one was able to do. But, I knew Hatton was going to win. Castillo's training camp could not have gone that well with his brother dying, financial issues, and Corrales death. Its too much for one to swallow and to concentrate when all this shit is going on, especially during training camp

Ok he wasnt at his best, But he done the job..To be honest I never thought Hatton would have any chance with Mayweather before the DLH fight but after I saw that fight I think Hatton is in with chance! IMO DLH won that fight, And Ricky will give Mayeather more trouble than DLH did trust me..So thats why I think he is now in with a chance!

I didn't think the fight was good but I was impressed with Hatton dispatching JLC the way he did. I was expecting an all out brawl but to me the fight ended before it really got rolling. I was expecting more drama like in the JLC vs Corrales fight. That's why I don't classify that fight as good.
