I like Leonard Ellerbe. I met him down in Miami, he was a really cool guy, and he is a smart businessman. He is just saying this stuff to get you guys hyped up like you are now.

I am not privy to the inside dealings. I was just informing that in an interview, Jeff really stated that Leonard befriended him because Floyd was his nephew. He said he was fooled by Leonard because he used to act like he was just cool with Jeff. He (Leonard) used to purchase his tickets to the fight, etc. Jeff then asked Floyd to hire him as a bodyguard and eventually, Leonard and Jeff stopped speaking, with the same happening w/ Floyd to follow. It's just not necessary.

He's made a name for himself by saying negative shit about every fighter except Floyd. I hate people who can't say anything positive about other fighters. I was in a Aol chatroom with Peter McNeely and I think you were there too. I remember I asked him if it really was him and after he told me yes people started taking shots at him so he left . This was about two years ago when i first started using the net so i didn't trust anyone but after he left I knew it had to have been him. It's to bad, i'd like to talk to him again . I hate when people call fighters bums too. People dont realize how hard it is just to succeed in amatuer boxing let alone the pros. I dont think people realize how much it hurts to get hit repeatedly with 10 ounce gloves either. People always say, "man if I was Floyd Mayweather I would stand and trade." Floyd credits L for much of his fitness - and PBF is always the fittest fighter in the game. Floyd regards the guy as a friend. Is Leonard a sycophant? Maybe. But if that is what PBF needs to be his best under the light, so be it. I have seen PBF train up close (in the same gym as I worked out 10 feet away) and he didnt need any help whatsoever to train like a super athlete...his work out was a BOXING workout and it was impressive.
