Roy Jones JR vs Sugar Ray Leonard

Roy wins. Leonard was a little better IMO and a greater fighter, but he's a smaller guy who peaked at 147. Roy peaked at 168 and that was during the day before weigh-in era.

Jones easily: too big, too fast, too much power, too unorthodox

p4p and based on resume, i gotta go all the way with leonard.. 2 of the most technically gifted fighters in history of boxing...

in their primes, maybe RJJ is to big, but i dont see him knocking out Leornard... p4p wise where size does not matter, I will favor Leonard ...

For what it is worth I know for a FACT that Roy's dad has a video tape of these two sparring back in either 1987 or 1988.

Roy by easy UD12 it would be more one-sided than Norris-Leonard then again, I could see the 2 of them just dancin in circles for 36 minutes

JJ in UD I love roy jones, but no way was he better than Ray Leonard, sorry dude, if you look at the level of comp they faced i dont think you can come to that conclusion, Hopkins is no Hearns or Duran Toney, fair enough, he perhaps more talented, but not as dangerous. Roy Jones. What about This. Whose the better rapper? Roy Jones or DMX? Lyrically its close, dmx is dreadful. Was discussing this with someone the other day. lol.

Jones is probably too big. In his prime, I also think he had more physical skills.
