I retract my earlier statement about scoring it 118-112, I was somewhat swayed by pro-Mayweather commentators.
After watching the fight again, on both Sky and HBO broadcasts, here is my scorecard
115-114 Floyd Mayweather.
Here's how I scored it.
Oscar vs Floyd
9-10
10-9

I gave Oscar 5 rounds (2,3,4, 7 and 8), Floyd 6 rounds (1,5,9,10,11,12) and one draw round (6) where I scored it 10-10
How did you all score it?
115-113 oscar.....floyd didn't do shit.......can't believe these dumb judges oscar was the aggressor and champion
I tried telling all of my friends that, the funny thing is they didn't watch the fight and say DLH is a bum. Well if they actually watched the fight the would see that if anybody was a bum it was PBF, not saying that PBF is a bum, but he was the guy that was running like a chicken with his head cut off.
After re-watching the fight here is what I came up with:
1. PBF
2. DLH
3. Draw
4. DLH
5. PBF
6. DLH
7. DLH
8. DLH
9. PBF
10. PBF
11. PBF
12. PBF
115-114 DLH
It was closer to a draw than a win for either fighter, I would not even bother watching a rematch. Floyd did NOT go in and TAKE the belt, and Oscar did NOT put up much of a DEFENSE of his title. Floyd stated before the fight that he was willing to DIE in the ring against Oscar - what a croc of shit, he wasn't even willing to throw punches. As for Oscar - he lost the "warrior" determination that made him great, and he lost it before the dive in the Hopkins fight. Oscar has managed to lose most of the biggest fights of his career, but at least he used to show courage, which is something that Mayweather has NEVER shown in his career, even when winning....
Damn fine way of puting it......Personally I would watch a rematch tho.
Trust me. I got it TIVO'ed. I watched it THREE TIMES.
Somebody would have to make a concerted effort with the thought of robbery in mind, to score that fight for Oscar. That's how severe it was.
Nonsense, there were alot of close rounds in the fight and although Mayweather possibly edged the fight it was certainly not clear cut.
Part of me wants to watch again just to see how someone could give 7 rounds to Oscar. Its not really a fight I want to see again soon though.
It just depends how you score rounds. Personally, I don't think blocking a barrage of punches justifies point scoring.

116-112 mayweather. its sad some people have to downplay such a beautiful performance by floyd mayweather in order to continue clinging on to oscar's ballsack. mayweather won this fight no question

Nah, they saw what most of us saw man, a close fight that Floyd edged. I don't think they were biased, just more objective than the referee who scored it in favour of Oscar. There's no way DLH won that fight, the best he could have gotten is a draw. Floyd won that fight by doing the cleaner work towards the end. Going into the 12th round I had it dead even, Floyd nicked it on the basis of his cleaner work.
i know im not denying it was close, but oscar had no chance to win a decision from the start if he didnt win by at least 4 points...
I know im going to get flamed for this, but i really CANT see how ANYONE could score it for Oscar. I can see a lucky draw for oscar, yes, but not a win.
Floyd was the one showing the amazing boxing skills. Ducking, weaving, his speed was incredible, reflexes insane, I think it is going to be a long time until someone can match this kid.
He was more accurate AND outlanded Oscar more, Oscar tired out around the late rounds, and looked NOTHING special at all. Floyd was the one that looked impressive, not only in my eyes.
There were rounds that mayweather took off. I personally scored the fight 115-113, although I could have seen a lucky draw to Oscar, a win to him, NO WAY.
He looked nothing impressive, he looked slow and sluggish compared to floyd, he got HURT by floyd, he got outlanded by floyd, floyd was far more impressive looking with his defence. floyd rose to the occasion and I think deservedly got the desicion.
