Best day of my life as a boxing fan

First of all, id like to make it clear, i have yet too see this fight, I listened to it live, and BBC are pretty reliable, but i dont know the full facts, Here's is my opinion based on what i heard last night. This was attempted robbery, Mayweather CLEARLY won the fight, Mayweather hurt him real bad, Mayweather did not run, he smacked the shit into de la hoya from rounds 9 onwards BBC had it 117-111 PBF, Tell me something, How does that judge have it 115-113 DLH? Disgraceful, the message is loud and clear, if PBF comes back (i dont think he will), they will take his 0. A guy who weighted 148 pounds on fite night dominated a guy weighing over 154 pounds. In a rematch, Mayweather will stop him. naaah. you really can't base an opinion on listening to radio commentary. well, you can but it won't be your opinion, it will be the commentators. i watched a german stream of the fight and so listened without commentary and had floyd winning 115-114. floyd did a good job - he acknowledged the fact that oscar had a bigger punch and had to hold on a few times to put a stop to a dlh flurry. he also managed to land some good accurate shots from round 5 onwards, but without ever putting big combos together. for this reason, and the fact that dlh was much busier and agressive at points in the fight, i can understand how some people could have had him winning. imo the SD was far from robbery. you really need to watch the fight for yourself and make your own mind up.

The fact is DLH has every conceivable advantage he could think of (weight division, gloves, ring size) and still got schooled. At a lower weight, the speed advantage for Mayweather would have been that much greater. Mayweather clearly showed he is the smarter fighter of the two by making adjustments throughout the fight while DLH just came inside like an idiot and try to hug and hit. DLH's legacy of losing to the best fighters he ever faced is still in tact... lot of retards on those lists there lol. pretty much everyone I would have told you to ignore leading up to this fight

Oscar did what he had to do. The fight was close if you look at it closely. Whether DLH didn't land that much punches he did throw alot. Look at Winky Vs Taylor. Perfect example. Also you seen in round 12 how Floyd decided to slug it out. His ass almost got knocked out. It was a close fight; the only certain thing about that fight is that a prime version of DLH would have easily KO'd Floyd Mayweather; an old DLH nearly decisioned him. One round on one card (i.e., a few punches) and we have a draw. I scored 115-113 Mayweather. No excuses needed, DLH fought Mayweather beautifully Prime DLH couldnt KO pernell whitaker who was passed it, Prime DLH probably would have fared worse since his defense was even more suspect in his early days than now. Oscar has never beaten a prime fighter who could move and punch, period. And as much as i have lauded and loved oscar over the years, anyone who can move and get out of his way has a shot at beating him, period. Against whitaker he did the same shit, throwing flurries etc, not really landing big, but trying to look busy, while Whitaker tagged his ass repeadedly but still got the loss in a close fight. Mind you whitaker was fucking way past it.
