I wouldn't say that De La Hoya completely outclassed Trinidad, but he certainly had the fight won before he got on his bike in the last few rounds. tito is a living legend no doubt......yeah he lost to b-hop and winky but he never ducked anyone....and to those that say oscared outclassed him when does outclass include running for your life....ill never forget the atmosphere the night tito demolished joppy....that's the loudest madison square garden crowd ever....... Well didnt like when Tito beat Pernell, one of my favorit fighters. But it was clear Pernell was past his best, he was no longer able to fight like when he was younger and was coming of a long layoff. No way Pernell would have stayed still and exchanced shots with Tito in his prime, as he mostly did in there fight.

I don't get the beef with Tito. He was skilled, punched hard, collected knockouts, fought tough fighters, and repeatedly got off the floor to win. He was beaten by two massively bigger men who are widely regarded as top 5 p4pers, and even if he had lost to De La Hoya (and it was an odd way to score the fight) his three losses would be to Bernard Hopkins, WInky Wright and Oscar De La Hoya. Where is the shame in that? 42 (35) - 2 - 0 Definitely not a shameful record.

I like Tito, but the way he went out was dissapointing. He didn't deal with adversity very well.. I'm also dissapointed he failed to negotiate a rematch with Oscar. That would have been the fight I wanted. Not Floyd. This Mayweather fight is not a serious fight for this sport. But it will bring in some business. Oscar and Floyd need to put on a GOOD show. Good sportsmanship - everything. The World will be watching. Boxings future could be influenced by this fight.

I used to hate Trinidad because he beat up Mr. Whitaker. That hate went away when Hopkins beat his ass though.

The Trinidad vs. DLH deserved to be a draw. Neither fighter did shit to win the fight and no way did DLH outclass Tito by fighting the way he did.
